sleepy sketchbook

i thought i wouldn't like it because i always draw on ivory paper

but so far it's been inspiring. The colors seem very bright

i call this shitbook because it has high quality but very thin paper. at the time i started this notebook, i was only painting with watercolours, and the watercolours were destroying this paper and drawings turned out, well, like shit :D

now i already know how to paint in it with watercolours.

it's actually a really cool notebook. it has a very sturdy binding, an Art Creation sketchbook would have fallen apart long ago after so many years, but not this museum sketchbook! it's very pretty, and it's a pleasure to hold.

it's a very small sketchbook (a7), but it has a lot of pages (240!). i've been drawing and doing all sorts of silly things in it for over three years. and now there are three pages left in it that i'm very sad to fill 😭

for three years i carried it around in my bag, drew everywhere i wanted, and thought it would never end! it has become a very personal and dear to my heart thing over so much time 🤍
