when he’s at his lowest, or when he’s on a particularly rough mission, he pulls out the picture and stares at it. he keeps it as a reminder, mostly. of how far you’ve both come, of all of the shit you’ve been through together. he stares at it and smiles, no matter the situation he’s in.

it wasn’t like he was a blushing virgin - he’d done his fair share of kissing - but you two had been together for a week, and he was starting to wonder if you were ever going to do it. despite him being forward in everything he did, katsuki was nervous. he didn’t want to mess this one up; go too far or do something he couldn’t take back.

the day you kissed him for the first time, you were sitting on the kitchen counter, legs swinging, watching him make dinner. he’d turned around to tell you to stop kicking him the ass, but stopped short when he saw just how perfect you looked.
