It’s been a while since my tumblr sketchblog has been updated. I’m just so busy with the new job it’s hard for me to squeeze in time for drawing at the moment. I hope to change that especially with upcoming Inktober and halloween!!!  I’m a little pre-emptive - and very rusty

I had a destressing painting session and here are the end results. I really loved how the colours came out in this and hope to do more in the future! I’ve been working on putting together a game piece just to see what I can do. Everything you see is a complete work in progress and will most likely have huge changes before it reaches the final stages.  I’m using the Corgi Engine as the base for the platformer game and then tweaking everything else and drawing/building/animating it all myself. Eeek! I was just super happy that I got everything working in regards to a sprite that can actually be moved around, despite a lack of animations. Now I’ve got to figure out how to make the platforms work pretty! Music for the video is by Chris Zabrinskie 

Early level concepts for personal game project I am working on. Pompocalypse. Plus a preview of how things are looking currently.  This is a huge learning experience for me as I work and figure things out. I’m working by myself so am getting to grips with Unity and building everything from scratch (minus the programming which I am using the Corgi Engine <3)  I’m sure it’s going to go through some huge make overs as I progress. I’m already leaning towards a re-design of the playable character to be more simplified so it stands out more against the background :3 LEARNING LEARNING LEARNINGS
