wearing a bra is a personal choice just like wearing any other garment of clothing is. no one is under any obligation to harness their breasts—they are not being “disrespectful” or anything else negative by not wearing a bra. you, however, are being disrespectful if you give people who prefer to go braless shit for doing so.

Sometimes they’re related, but they’re not the same and shouldn’t be assumed to be the same. You can be a sexual top and a kink bottom, or vice versa. Or you can do kink in a way that doesn’t involve any sex at all, so being a sexual top/bottom is irrelevant. And in any of those iterations, you can be a dom or a sub if you want to bring power dynamics into it, but you don’t have to.

And the kink scene as we know it was born of a queer subculture. If you are not down with accepting and learning from those roots, and with acknowledging the inherent queering of gender, sex, and sexual roles needed to do kink, then don’t do kink.

I reply to explain that trans women are (and should be) centered in conversations about transphobia because they are treated worse and have worse sociopolitical outcomes. as politely as I am able while still conveying the relevant information

within the span of an hour this person and a separate transmasculine person reply to this comment to argue this. the creator of the video, who is also transmasculine btw, likes the comment I was disagreeing with and deletes mine.

we still need "We're Queer We're Here Get Used To It", because i don't know about you guys, but from what I'm seeing, they aren't fucking used to it.
