First off, I wrote this over a year ago, still it is relevant to this day, and I still agree with a lot of this. This is all in my opinion through my own experience and perspective on life. 

Don’t put so much trust in people who you just met, regardless of emotion.

Trust and love yourself.

Have confidence that you can succeed and any of your dreams that you have about the world or yourself can come true. Eventually, you will see things come together.

Have inner peace. 

Know that life will not be easy. Without a struggle inn some way or another, there is no advancing as a person. If everything were easy, where in a world where you were provided with luxuries growing up. If there were no tensions, arguments or heartbreaks. We could not find ourselves or the people we need to be with. We would not challenge the actions or thoughts of ourselves, including other people. Becoming lost.

Sometimes things happen for a reason, they can show you a lesson in life. Something that wont immediately be apparent. It could be that clarity will come to you later on in life.

If you truly know you love someone and you continue to be with someone who doesn’t act with affection or commitment on the same level as you. Things will probably fall apart, it’s no ones fault, just the way things might have to be at that time. 

You deserve to be loved back.

Speak honestly about yourself and other people, no one knows what is going on in your mind , so you have to express it. You will gain respect and trust.

Live with humility, we are all human beings with a beating heart, a thoughtful mind with a soul. We are all equally made of the same things. Its our perceptions that shape our views on life, don’t blame others because its different than yours.

Not everyone has it all figured out, its okay to be lost sometimes.

You may not see all parts of yourself, which is why we have friends, family and other lovers that expose possibly, the truest parts of our nature. 

Choose to be happy, you will benefit from it greatly. 

Love everyone, including yourself.

This was named ‘The big tree’ for obvious reasons . It’s 80m (262ft) tall and 9m (29,5ft) in circumference. This tree is a Douglas Fir, many of them are comparable in size in the area of the island. Alongside a lot of Western Red Cedar Trees.
