to begin,

you'll need the shine, the top, the bottom, and the outline.

the dimensions are w:100 and h:18.

basic button creation:

import the outline to your canvas and compose the layers like this.

base color>bottom light>top light>outline

recolor it by using alpha lock on each layer. it should look something like this after the recolor:

I like to use the font upheaval,which you can get by importing fonts from dafont. resize it to your button until it looks satisfactory.

symbols!

you can find symbols on websites or you can make them by using regular pngs and shrinking them to this small canvas. they should be pretty pixelated. MAKE SURE THEYRE TRANSPARENT. resize them and add onto the button by the text. You can recolor them too. I like to add a stroke to them. you can find the stroke in filters.

find symbol>resize>move onto button>recolor>add stroke (optional)

the shine!

once your button base is finished,add the shine to the corner. download that frame and import a new shine. move the new shine right next to the old shine. delete the old shine and download the image once the old shine is deleted. move the new shine seven movements to the side. download the button with the shine and repeat the process until the shine reaches the end.

shine to the corner>add new shine>move the new shine next to the old shine>delete the old shine>save the image w/o the old shine>move the new shine seven pxs to the right>save the image>repeat the process.

gif!

once you've downloaded all of the shine frames,add them into the ezgif website. upload them and make sure they're in the correct order. add the delay to 10 and make sure the frames don't stack. then hit make a gif!

now you're done! here's your new button!
