Maybe because there is no such thing as a “perfect fit”, or at least not in the sense that it's a perfect mold of one specific person’s foot. Every shoe has measurements, created by magic or not, and just like most footwear a perfect fit means a bit of breathing room and not something that’s impossible to come off. It just so happened that in the search of this story’s prince he found no one else of the same shoe size. But what if the prince did find someone else whose foot could fit, would he have settled? Was it just coincidence that Cinderella was the first person found that could wear the shoe? If the prince kept looking, could he have found more?

But as we grow older, I'm sure that you see too have come or will come to a point when you realize it was a lie. It was a lie because time doesn't actually heal anything.

i wish neither of us would have to say sorry or tell eachother why we chose to do what we did. i'd ask "how's your day?". and you'd tell me "it was tiring". then i would tell you about how i got to ate some of our favorite ice cream today, and you'd say "that's mean, you should've brought me some", then we'd laugh about it while wrapping my arms around you.
