Unfortunately, you'll need to replay the whole game because I made some changes to the code. For example, now the greying hair makes it so that the hair and fur of your MC is not grey, but greying. As always, I encourage you to play with different MCs to get all the slight variations.

Hiiii Echo how are you doing? I have a question, how would the RO's react if they came home one day and saw MC doing the Anjali special (1000 yard stare in the kitchen). When they ask what happened they find out that their (teen)kids found MC's ex ranking list that they had completely forgotten about and were making jokes about it. (MC is mortified)
Hiya synth! I'm good, hope you're doing good too 😊
Anjali: "Why do you even still have it?" She can't believe you preserved evidence of this many questionable decisions and then left it somewhere teenagers could find it. She'd help you regain control of the situation, but only after making it clear this was an avoidable crisis.
Dmitry: He tries so hard to be supportive. Truly. It was a long time ago. Everyone has embarrassing things from their past. The kids are only teasing because they love you. Then one of them yells, "Wait, how does someone even get 2.3 stars for kissing?" from the other room, and he has to turn away. He doesn't laugh. Mostly.
Jong-woo: Horrified on your behalf, but also fighting for his life. He keeps rubbing your shoulders and telling you it's okay, they'll forget about it soon, but then one of the kids asks if he thinks he would rank higher than "the one with the motorcycle but no bed frame" and his whole face collapses. He's not strong enough for this. He wants to protect your dignity. He also desperately wants to know what the categories were.
Kailee: Her first question is not "are you okay?" It's "can I see it?" Did younger you have taste, or were they making decisions based on extremely questionable criteria? She'll help you recover from the humiliation, but only after she gets a clear picture of what she's dealing with.
Kalea: She feels so bad for you. She comes into the kitchen, sees your face, hears what happened, and immediately goes soft with secondhand embarrassment. She tries to console you very sincerely, but she's also pressing her lips together the entire time because the kids are being funny and she cannot fully pretend otherwise.
Linden: Linden lets the kids have their fun until it's clear you're genuinely mortified. Then they step in. "Okay. You've had your fun." The list gets returned, the jokes get retired for the night, and Linden gently suggests that maybe you should throw it away if its continued existence is causing you this much damage. They're not judging you for making it. They're judging you a little for keeping it.
Lu: Listens to the explanation, glances toward the other room, and immediately decides your kid has gotten far too bold. They're not curious about the list. As far as they're concerned, whatever's on it is ancient history and beneath them. Your kid acting smug over one lucky find, though? That needs handling. "You're very brave for someone whose search history still exists."
Makai: Gets it under control pretty quick. He deals with teens day in and day out, so he knows when to let them laugh and when to cut it off. He gives them the look, waits just long enough for one of them to grin, then goes, "You're judging somebody else's old mistakes out loud with that haircut?" Later, he'd probably tell you that if the list bothers you this much, it might be time to get rid of it. No reason to keep a forgotten little humiliation trap sitting around the house.
Marcel: They're thrilled. Not because you're suffering. Well. Not only because you're suffering. They hear "forgotten ex ranking list" and immediately need to see it. "Please? It'll...help me get to know you better! Who was the worst kisser?" They'd make the kids stop if you're actually upset, but until then? They're entertained, invested, and not nearly as helpful as they should be.
Misty: There's no universe where she keeps a straight face through this. She thinks it's hilarious that your kids found it, hilarious that you forgot about it, and even funnier that you're reacting like they unearthed state secrets. Her first real question, once she can breathe again, is whether she would have ranked high. Objectively. Hypothetically. For science.
Santi: They try to be comforting before curiosity wins. They're laughing and you're dying inside. They want to know where they'd land on the list, confident enough to believe the answer should be flattering and nosy enough to want confirmation. They pull you close, kiss your temple, and say, "It's okay, mi vida, I know your taste got better." Which is comforting, technically. It is also not helping.
Diego’s main personality I chose for him is friendly and polite
His stats at the end of the demo were charming, reserved, playful, friendly, easygoing, slightly more impulsive, and bold.
Diego has gotten along with everyone so far except for Anjali but hasn’t really clicked with anyone. However the moment Jong-woo shows up he is immediately going for him.
The person he’s closest with is Kalea. She’s his bestie. Also just wanted to say that she has the correct reaction to seeing a snake.
I could also see him befriending Makai and Kailee too honestly. He bid for Makai but he knew he wasn’t getting picked back.
I play him as very friendly but he has beef with Anjali. He’s also very petty since I made him hide her luggage. Her fans are gonna kill him.
He’s questioning Dmitry’s tastes but is trying not to judge.
He was also super friendly with Marcus. He may not be a romance option but I will try to befriend him. But honestly even if he was a romance option i probably wouldn’t go for him right away. Himbos are more my speed.
Oh yeah made him a survival expert since I have a feeling he’ll be out in the cold for a little while.
His statement was the ranking system.
He won the advantage but i can’t really see him using it. He’d probably prefer to just stay in the cold zone the normal amount of time with Kalea instead of making her stay longer.
After replaying the demo I decided to make Diego. There’s something so fun about reality tv show games. I’m super looking forward to future chapters and meeting the rest of the cast.
The second half of Chapter 4 has been edited and had new content added, which almost completes this chapter's rewrites*. Also, I ended up adding some Chapter 3 revisions too. Things to look out for in this update are:
-A couple chapter 3 additions: Mordred now has the opportunity to keep in touch with Arthur with the intention of gaining an ally/manipulating him. This means you get a new letter variation, as well as a different POV before Mordred's birthday.
-Also in chapter 3, Mordred has a couple new conversation choices when Gawain asks them to sneak out.
-A chat with Alina 👀
-Alina's confession to Gareth has also been re-written.
-More romance options with the Dragon Friend™, as well as the opportunity to confess if you haven't in the previous chapter.
-I've ended up seriously trimming down the birthday scene. There's two variants depending on whether Arthur is attending or not, and all the little scenes with various characters have been taken out for the sake of pacing. However, I want to release them as a separate extra, free mini-game for whoever is interested in playing through those scenes!
-Added a couple new choices when talking with Gawain the day after Mordred's birthday.
-There may be more little things I'm forgetting. As with the last update, there's a lot of little tweaks and edits made to the chapter overall.
*What I didn't get to finish are a few scenes that shouldn't take me too long; but just so you know, the conversations with Morgana, respectively Accolon the morning after Mordred's birthday are not yet revised. I also plan on adding a short Morgana POV.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Cantata’s publication! I’m traveling back home today, which will be a weird bit of time travel, so I guess I get to celebrate Cantata’s anniversary twice, lol.

Hello, everyone! Yes, you did read that right. I am proud to present you with the first Zorlok update of the new year. Hope you enjoy it!

With code (since I can't separate code from my writing) Episode 1 is now at over 179k words. This update added around 93k. Altogether, the game is sitting at around 345k words (again, with code).
As always, let me know through an ask here, the comments on itch.io, or a message in the Zorlok server if you come across any bugs or typos. I'll get to updating and fixing them as quickly as I can.
This is just the first update of the new year and I'm hoping to add to it soon with even more content. (Like maybe a few weeks from now? If that. I've been writing a lot and the only reason why this update isn't even longer is because I need to code and test those parts more thoroughly.)
There's so much I'm eager to share with you about this story, this world and these characters. I'm feeling really motivated, confident, and inspired and I'm at a place with my life and mental health where I'm more stable than I've been in a long time. Barring anything unforeseen, this should be a fun year for Zorlok... *knocking on every piece of wood within reach*

Bladeweaver's demo has been (belatedly, to say the least) updated, bringing with it big expansions to Chapter 2, bugfixes galore and a small amount added to Chapter 3. Chapter 2 is still (infuriatingly, I'm sorry) not fully complete, but that WILL come in the next update, rest assured. there are lots of additions in here, especially for those of you who went with Sam to the festival and wanted to stay home. You even get to fight him! In a friendly manner of course. Mostly.
This isn't the update I was wanting to get out, but I see it as more of a promise; I'm still here, still working, and there's more to come soon now that I'm back in the groove of things. I also wanted to get one last update out before the year ended, and what better day for it than today? I'd also wanted to update how the codex works in this one, but just didn't find the right method to do it, so that'll be on the to-do list for next time.
With all that said, I'm going to get back to my usual Christmas activities (drinking and eating chocolate) and let you guys find out what's new and a little bit different in this one. I'm totally not too lazy to write a summary. Totally.
