Hi, I’m Llama, working on Supernatural in New York and The Bastard of Camelot, currently in choicescript but working on porting them to twine.

Hey, theres this error that shows up after nimue pulls up the lovers card. Public demo.

Forgot to answer to this sooner though I did go and fix the error when it came up. So it should be working fine now!

Hello again! I tried replaying after reloading the itchio page, but also after trying with a new save, and then on another browser, but the bug is still present on my end and it's still impossible to progress past that same point I mentioned in my ask

Ok...this is odd. If you don't mind, can you tell me which choices you made previously, when the option to dance with the Dragon Friend came up?

Also, is anyone else experiencing this? (if you do, pls mention if it's the public or patreon demo. I tried to fix the issue in unison but maybe somehow I missed something???) I'll play through the game myself when I get the chance. For now I'm staring at the file and I can't tell what went wrong twt

IT IS FIXED!

Going through the demo (both public and patreon) to fix bugs and just realized there's a good chunk of flavor text - and in some instances, whole as scenes with choices - not showing up because instead of using the archetype variable for the Dragon Friend ($dragon_type) I mixed it up with the name variable ($dragon_name) 🙃

Hello! Im quite confused on how to represent the dragon in my mind. Sometimes it feels like they are anthropomorphic-like, other times regular dragon. So whats the right choice?

They're the classic dragon shape: quadruped and winged.

What's new? The Chapters 4+5 re-writes completed!

This long-awaited public update brings you:

-So much new Dragon Friend content, as this was the main point of the re-writes. Their character and relationship with Mordred continues to be fleshed out throughout chapters 4 and 5 with re-written and brand-new scenes.

-Play around with whether Mordred stays friends or falls in love with the Dragon Friend; for the latter, the romance can be started in any of the chapters! (though the confession has not yet happened in chapter 5 👀)

-There's so much more to discover in this update besides the extended DF content

-Chapter 4 has been heavily edited for a smoother pace; the misc birthday hang-out scenes have been cut out, but they will be released as a free, bonus mini-game.

-There's new choices for trans Mordreds too, both in chapter 4 and 5. Also the opportunity to bond with Elaine over it.

-Added new options in chapter 3 for Mordred to either stay on amiable but not close terms with Arthur - they're pen pals, Mordred just wants an ally - or actively manipulate Arthur into thinking they care about him.

-You can also have a chat with Alina in chapter 4 👀

-And more! Really, I recommend re-reading chapters 4 and 5 in their entirety in order to discover for yourself all the new changes and additions.

I'm getting an error in Chapter 4. My Mordred at the end of chapter 3 corresponded with Arthur to manipulate him, faking closeness. After the revelations in chapter 4 I went with writing Arthur to get his viewpoint and than go back to being distant. But it seems like this path isn't fully integrated?

One: the choice of "Sit down at your desk and pen a letter to Arthur. You must get his side in this matter. You must let him know you've found out." is still there immediately after my Mordred had sent the letter.

Two: when telling Morgana "I wrote to Arthur" after this, there's an error message

and here's what it looks like when that choice comes up

I don't know if the dot and / is a separate issue or not, but figured I should let you know.

On the bright side, I did enjoy the update!

Ok, the weird thing is, that choice in the second error wasn't supposed to appear at all. I had it commented out (so that it would only show up for me in the files when coding) because I kept going back and forth on whether to include the choice, and ended up not writing the option eventually. But something must have gone wrong clearly. (I may bring back the choice though, for now I'll take it out so it doesn't confuse people)

As for the first error, it should be fixed too.

Hey! So I picked the neutral/friendly but distant relationship with Gareth and during his scene with Alina he was like "we both share a dislike for Mordred" :'( is this just an error or does he actually dislike you behind your back?

Oh no, that was just a bug that put you on the wrong path in that scene! It should be fixed now.

Hello, I hope you're doing okay! I'm really enjoying this update, but I wanted to ask if it was normal for the demo to not progress after we dance with our dragon friend? Specifically, my Mordred developed a crush on his dragon friend in chapter 5. There just isn't a button to progress any further:
