On this day in 2001 while in the Bahamas Aaliyah lost her life in a tragic plane crash. Though always remaining humble and true to herself,she accomplished more at the age of 22 than most could in 3 three lifetimes. In her 7 year career releasing her first album at the age 15,being the first black woman to perform at the Oscars,she was a risk taker and experimented with many genres of music. She was scheduled to redub her voice in Queen Of The Damned,finish filming for The Matrix:Reloaded which unfortunately there weren’t enough scenes completed as Zee so she was replaced but her scenes can be found on YouTube and the DVD,star in Honey which was released in 2003 so she was replaced by Jessica Alba.
