we got to see rotta the hutt all grown up and wholesome (but also RIPPED and a gladiator) and more rebels-excuse me- new republic shenanigans chasing imperials around, Garazeb Orrelios wrecking a hallway full of stormtroopers with his bo-rifle, and Embo showing up with his giant dog and his giant round hat to cause problems, and Sigourney Weaver as a x-wing squad leader, and Dave Filoni hiding in the background of a couple of shots, and the assholes from tbobf getting eaten by a giant swamp wyrm and yet that wasn't good enough for some people

I noticed that also! His gentleness is his most appealing trait as a character. I wonder if meeting and parenting Grogu is what shaped this. Yes it was always there, but before Grogu it seemed like he was just surviving without much feeling.

The significance of Din's last kill before succumbing to the venom being a B2 super battle droid... the same kind that almost killed him as a child, the one that's haunted him ever since... his final act of heroism in his eyes... before he's cursed to die alone...
