How would it feel to know Haehyun couldn’t protect what was most important to them, over and over, for decades? Centuries? All this time spent in each other’s company thinking they’d known what their monster was capable of. Thinking they’d known about what sometimes plagued Haehyun with the sunrise, their reprieve inside their coffin and solace in the soft cushioning, a blanket gifted by their mother and shared so often with Soo.
