Hello…Here are a few questions I'd like to ask about Pyrolis.
What does she like to do in her free time?
What is her relationship with her parents and other family members and friends like? Her relationship with her mother is different from her older sister's relationship with her eldest daughter.
After receiving the grimoire, will she become a mage-knight? If so, which squad would she join or would she join?
How does she feel about the other captains?
Did she inherit fire magic from Fuegoleon, or does her magic combine her father's and mother's, which is why she wears antimania gloves?
What kind of people does she like and hate?
How does she feel about Asta? Does she only resent him or hate him for taking away the position she believed her father was destined for 8. Did she ever doubt her appearance?
Hi! Thanks for the questions!🧡💛🧡
1. In her free time she reads a lot. She loves spending time in her father's study while he works because there are so many books there and she can be near him even without talking. Usually she just wanders in without knocking while he's working, grabs some book and sits silently in the armchair in the corner. She simply likes knowing her dad is close.
“Dad?” came a cautious, quiet call in the hush of the study. The air inside was warm, slightly refreshed by the cool breeze from the open window.
The girl sat quietly in a patterned fabric armchair, a magic handbook resting on her knees. Both book and volume looked quite large compared to her skinny, slightly angular teenage frame.
“Yes?” came the answer after a couple of seconds of soft murmuring under his breath. Fuegoleon lifted a kindly, if tired, look to his daughter, pausing his pen over the paper for a moment.“Was there something you wanted?”
The girl quickly shook her head, fussing at her already unruly red hair.
“No, I just… wanted to check if you were still here.”
“I see. Well, don’t worry — I’m not going anywhere today,” he said with a gentle smile, propping his head with two fingers at his temple, looking at her with the tender affection of a parent.
“That… that’s good…” Pyrolis mumbled almost incoherently, hastily lifting the book from her lap to hide her flushed, ashamed face. “Sorry… I got distracted.”
“It’s all right. A lot has happened, and I’m just glad to be able to talk to you like this.”
2. Basically, as I said, things with her family are more or less good. She gets along well with most of them and doesn't really have problems with that. And yes, Lucy and Pyrolis’s relationship differs from Leilia and Dominica’s. Lucy and Pyrolis have a much more personal, intimate bond because they went through most of life’s hardships together. Leilia is close to her daughter too, but they probably didn’t have as many situations that would make them even closer. Also, Dominica’s temperament is similar to her father’s, so it’s easier for her to relate to him.
3. Yes, she will become a Magic Knight (I won’t say which squad — that’s obvious).
4. Toward the other captains she is mostly neutral. Funny enough, when she was little she sometimes met the captains and many of them loved to dote on her. For the most part she’s neither for nor against them.
5. Yes, her magic is essentially a mutation — a fusion of her parents’ magics. I’ll tell the full story about her powers someday, but for now I’ll just say that her magic is very dangerous to people. Before she learned to control it, she was forced to wear gloves embedded with anti-magic stones so she wouldn’t accidentally hurt anyone.
6. She likes persistent, determined, and clever people. People she dislikes tend to be stupid, greedy, and overly arrogant. Also, she can’t stand excessively naive people — those who believe that good will always defeat evil, or that if you want something badly enough you’ll definitely get it. To her, that’s foolish — in this world only the will to win and strength of spirit matter. She understands the world is cruel, and such people seem incredibly naive to her.
7. Absolutely.Let me say right away that she simply didn’t see what Asta did for the kingdom — how much he sacrificed to reach his goal. But she can’t accept the fact that the Wizard King wasn’t her father. She saw what he sacrificed and hoped that people would recognize it and understand who truly deserved it. This ties directly to my previous answer. She can’t stand naive, simple-minded people like Asta, and the fact that he actually became the Wizard King is what truly angers her.
8.I don’t think so. In her value system, appearance is pretty much at the bottom of the list. She cares far more about strength, intellect, and skill. Actually, I wouldn’t say she’s unattractive by conventional standards. She’s pleasant-looking, though her constant gloom makes many people slightly intimidated by her.
But she doesn’t care about that. She models herself after her paternal aunt, Mereoleona. Mereoleona isn’t conventionally beautiful either: she doesn’t wear makeup, doesn’t dress in traditional dresses, often ignores etiquette — yet none of that prevents her from being a great person. She makes people admire her charisma and strength, and that’s what Pyrolis wants.
