🌹Biography:

Having been magic since she was born, Elsa has practically grown up isolated. Though, this wasn’t always the case. When they were young, Elsa was really close with her younger sister, Anna. They would play games and build snowmen in the winter wonderland Elsa would make in their bedroom. Everything was good, Elsa felt accepted by her family, even with her magic. She didn’t see anything wrong with her powers; she was too young to know how the rest of Arendelle felt about the Enchanted. But things changed when Elsa accidentally hit Anna in the head with her magic. Anna immediately fell into an unconscious state. Their parents took the girls to a member of the Order of the Rose, someone who could understand a way to get the magic out of Anna’s head. They were able to, but this led to having to remove the memories of magic. Which meant she couldn’t remember that Elsa had powers.

After that, Elsa grew up isolated. Her parents realized it would be too taboo if it came out that one of the descendants of the original royal family had magic, and Elsa didn’t mind. She was terrified of her own powers, worried she would hurt her sister or someone else. But she got used to it, concealing her feelings, concealing her powers. She and Anna were practically strangers, but Elsa told herself that that was okay, because at least her sister was safe. She felt like things were good; they were good enough. And then there was a car crash. Their parents were dead on the scene, leaving Anna and Elsa alone, strangers in their own homes.

As time has passed, Elsa has tried to find a way to control her powers. She wants to get closer with her sister again, but she can’t until she’s sure she will be safe. Not to mention, the sisters have started going out more, they’re back in view of the public eye. Elsa isn’t a fan of it all, but she puts on a brave face, wears her pair of gloves, and conceals her feelings and her ice powers. But even as she tries to hide them, tries to hide who she is, she feels like she must have these powers for a reason. It’s almost like there’s something calling to her, telling her that she has a reason for being. Until she’s sure of herself, sure of her own powers, she’s not going to pursue that call. But it’s always there, and Elsa can’t help but wonder who it is or what they want.

🌹Opinions on Magic:

Elsa accepts that people have magic, obviously. She believes it’s beautiful in some people, but she doesn’t always see that in herself. It worries her that there are people out there that may try to hurt her or her loved ones just because she possesses magic.

🌹Connections:

Olaf Snowden: A young man that Elsa has known since they were children. He never really seemed aware of her status and never seemed bothered by the fact that she had powers. It was an accident that he found out she had them, but he kept it a secret, and her powers never seemed to act up around him. It was nice to have a friend who she could trust that she didn’t have to worry about hurting.

Rapunzel Sonne: A distant cousin on her father’s side, Rapunzel came to Arendelle not long ago. She’s reached out to Elsa a few times, but Elsa finds it hard to connect. In her eyes, this is just another person who she could potentially end up hurting.

Vanessa Tannin: A young woman Elsa is wary of, but she seemed to know of her magic. She claims she can help her learn to control them. Elsa is still unsure what to believe, or where she got this information, but at this point she’ll take any help she can get.
