All this Irma talk makes me think about my cousin Irma who was murdered in 2008. Last year her killers were finally caught but this year the most important charge the murder charge against him was dropped! Anyway those who knew Irma knew she loved to sing and write so I decided to share a piece she wrote 9 years ago with you called "If no one speaks out" in it she asks "what about the victims that died way too soon? If you don't speak out for me how can I speak out for you?" She was a victim that died at 22, wayyyyy too soon and I still pray someone who knows something speaks out for her because if it were you she'd speak out for you! #RIPIRMA #IRMASIMEUS

About 3am this morning I had an old classmate post a status saying he was going to take his life! I could hear the pain in his words of being rejected and ignored because of some of the things he was dealing with in life! I was at work and a few of us commenting on the status jumped into action and were quickly able to have the police sent to him and they were able to reach him in time! Depression is real folks and If you or anyone you know is having thoughts of suicide I encourage you to please call 1-800-273-8255 and talk to someone! Take it from someone who was fighting depression there is light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark it may seem! You got to keep fighting but know that you cannot do it alone!
