I know I haven’t been present for the last several years, but I have never stopped being grateful for every single person I’ve encountered in this fandom. Y’all got me through some of the hardest times in my life—my mother dying, divorce, losing my home… This was always my escape. I cannot express enough how crucial this fandom was to keeping me going.

Even if we don’t talk much or at all, please know that I love you, I’m thinking of you, and I’m here if anyone needs to talk. Thank you all for the memories, the meet-ups, the charity drives. I was and still am part of something great and it has everything to do with all of you.

Take care of yourselves. Your feelings are valid, your experiences matter, and you are not alone. It’s been a wild ride but we’ve always been on it together.

Hey there friend! Thank you for reading my fic and for reaching out. I am by no means an expert but I will give you the best advice I possibly can. In my experience, don’t pressure yourself too much to find an exact label, or be accepting that your label might evolve throughout your lifetime. Gender and sexuality are a spectrum, and we don’t have to have fixed points on that spectrum. I always enjoyed finding a label because it helped me understand who I was, and I spent a lot of time trying to shove myself into boxes because of it. Over the years I’ve been bi, then a lesbian, then back to bi, then queer, then pan, and right now I would consider myself bi again. The label that fits me best has changed like clothing I’ve grown into.
