Personalities I'd give to Monsunos in the series part 1
An Adolescent with the explosive temper of an old man. He's the very first Modern Monsuno after all. (In JJK, for example, Sukuna is the Greatest Sorcerer of the Past and Gojo is the Greatest of the Present, I'd add that same logic to Wild Monsunos, who do not need Cores to exist but feed on the Energy on the air while Modern Monsunos need Cores to exist).
On one had he's Lowkey a softy with a kind, righteous heart, rarely seen but still there on the other he is too prone to violence, specially in the first season. He's the type to mellow out SIGNIFICANTELY with age in a 'He knows better now' way.
His temper is directly affected by Chase's emotions since they share DNA, but his original personality is that of a Stoic, No nonsense guy, VERY Protective Mama BearTM, specially with Chase.
Likes his space (Chase has free Petting Priviliges tho) but tolerates the presence and touch of those he trusts and is close with with a minimal glare but his scary face is permanent unless he's sleeping so it doesn't change much anyways (Team Core-Tech and Jeredy when Chase isn't mad at his dad, lol).
Very low sense of humor, he doesn't always get Chase's teenage puns but you can amuse him mainly with inside jokes.
A BIG sense of Honor and Pride, he's one of the strongest Monsunos around and gets only more powerful with age, he expects Manners, thank you very much.
Doesn't tolerate injustice and has an instinctive protective side towards other Monsunos, specially if they are being mistreated by humans.
Has a philosophical side with a bit of existential dread, he has to deal with the fact that he, on one hand, was created as The Lynchpin, the Bridge between humans and Monsunos but he's also been told over and over again that he could be their destruction too in an increasingly concerning prophetic way, he takes his role seriously and gets very agitated when power goes to Chase's head and starts taking his companionship for granted.
He takes Prophecies and spiritual things seriously, is a 50/50 thing for him when balancing the inminent arrival of Destiny with his own will and desire to make a path he's proud of.
He's the most loyal companion you could ask for, Ride or Die, sometimes questions asked BUT he WILL deliver.
He still has his reservations tho, moral and pride, he HAS the ability to say no, and he will use it if he doesn't agree to what he's being bargained with. A blockhead at times.
He's sometimes torn between the moral dilema of siding with humans over Monsunos and viceversa, in truth, he doesn't want to choose one side over the other (As it would spell doom for either as a result) also since he easily achieves Alpha status among his kin, he feels the responsability to protect and guide them.
Very shaken by Jack's philosophy and Freedomstriker's manipulative personality in the first season, kicks himself over the head from having sided with Jack when during his and Chase's rift until he becomes truly firm in his resolve to achieve Peace between the two worlds, the jackal Monsuno's words often haunt the back of his mind, specially when he sees other Monsunos being abused.
On the introverted side but enjoys a good conversation and doesn't mind other people's company, he likes preening himself a lot.
The vulture side of him is more dominant that's why you don't see him wreaking havoc at the slightlest provocation from his swan side but HE WILL ASK if they should stomp someone to the next life as casually as one would be talking about the weather. Waits for permission.
Has a lowkey vain image of himself, he's an elegant, pretty bird after all.
Charismatic, charming and curious, Very gentle and soft spoken . 10/10 good birb.
Playful, reckless, unpredictable, arrogant and cocky, lots of things go over his head, mainly those that do not interest him and doesn't take things seriously enough, he resembles Chase a lot in that regard.
Very smart and curious, easy to entertain and a wild card, he's a primate after all.
Energetic and can't stay still for long, but when he means bussiness HE MEANS bussiness.
Has slight personal beef with both Jon Ace (In his Toxic form) and Driftblade, mainly due to a wounded pride, he was made with a very powerful, special Signature ability meant to incapacitate the strongest of foes, so not very happy with the rude awakening of his power not being as foolproof as he had initialy thought in his first fights but it helps to humble him a little and takes things more seriously, mirrors Chase's growth around his overly reckless, arrogant side in first season.
Reliable, observant, smart and VERY intuitive, mirrors Chase's more mature, levelheaded and kinder side that earns the loyalty of his friends, his specialty are hit and run maneuvers so he's very good at reading and studying opponents while keeping himself out of harms way as he finds an opening. Very good informant and almost flawless tracker.
Not much of an ego compared to Babeon, he's aware of his shortcomings, (sometimes in a frustated way when he's on a losing streak).
He's built for speed and agility while constantly surrounded by powerhouses so he works hard to make up for it and tries his best not to jump carelessly into danger, he constantly butts heads with Babeon over their widely opposing personalities with the latter getting them into unnecesary trouble and risk that costs them both HP from their healthbars but on the rare occassion they truly find a way to work together they are truly a force to be reckoned with.
Due to his observant and cautious nature, he's the one that questions things the most, notes when the small things are off and metaphorically smells danger before it arrives.
Affectionate and gentle but not overbearing like a clingy, high needs cat, he knows his own strength and how much of it to use, also doesn't mind other people's presence as long as he's aquainted with them.
Not as stoic nor reserved as the others, quite emotional in fact but he DOES have a smart mouth. Good with comedic timing and for putting Babeon in his place.
He doesn't have much qualms on being dotted on when he's not on duty with a calm and docile demeanor, 10/10 nice cat, pet as much as you can, he deserves it.
Fiercely Protective, he's big and strong AND HE KNOWS IT. Never doubts his own power for a second.
A more drier sense humor than Lock.
Blockhead, thinks very literally, doesn't like beating around the bush but he isn't rude about it, he has mannersTM.
Nowhere nearly as reckless as Babeon but every problem looks like a frail wee tree sapling when one has massive, spiky ass horns and the bodybuilder style frame to carry them.
Surprisingly mature despite his brutish appereance, quite Sober and empathetic, has his moments of quiet reflection and understands as best as he can Lock's inner demons and mental torments with the fate of the world quite literally being on his shoulders.
They both balance being the rock of the group when the other is down, pretty solid guy all in all, 10/10 can count on him for moral support.
Quiet, shy, polite, modest and introverted much like his master, prefers to observe from afar but is not antisocial and likes to feel useful and part of the group. Good snek.
Is not inherently malicious in nature; On the contrary, he's quite empathetic and likes to be Servicial, he has good control of his spider legs and tail to help with small tasks or will inquire about the other's wellbeing to offer moral support with snips of wisdom.
Has his mournful periods, carries the guilt of not being strong enough to defend the Monks against the Bookman and
Has a seething hatred against Librax and his violent, cruel tendencies, the Bookman's Monsuno is pretty much his antithesis and they have winded philosophical arguments about their vastly opposite ideals.
Librax is the one Monsuno than can easily shake Glowblade's otherwise firm sense of identity and worth, he will NEVER let him forget the tragedy of Mandala and will always poke him right where it hurts at all times. Their rivalry is written in blood and can only end as such.
The Core-Tech Monsuno that has the most complex and strongest communication among the team with his master, almost like Valka and Cloudjumper, Monsuno and Controller are perfectly aware of their sizes and movements, they can read each other pretty easily and Beyal most of the time doesn't need to verbally Command him outside of battle as Glowblade immediately knows what he means just from posture alone in an almost uncanny way. Beyal doesn't always Get other peopleTM but he ALWAYS understands Glowblade.
They are almost like siblings, Glowblade is pretty much his shadow and they do not handle well being separated.
Surprisingly young mentaly, he is as much a teenager as the rest of Team Core-Tech but very wise and mature beyond his years.
Although he's Very Well Spoken and Proper in his diction, he's also got comically timed smartass comments or accidentally embarassing inquiries, even more sarcastic and judgemental than Beyal and he is not sorry about it. Unknown who's sassiness rubbed on the other.
Three pairs of judgemental side eyes to add salt to the wound.
They/Them/He/Us/We/It etc. There's NEVER a concrete answer, Each head seems to hold a separate piece of a whole of his personality and the three of them talk one after the other, either to finish sentences or to remark what the others are saying but they have their moments where they all talk like one (Booming Voice x3) in moments of high emotion. It can get quite dizzying; Beyal is used to it though.
The main head has the control of the body, they don't fight over it and are self-aware enough to quickly get over any arguments that may arise, they are one and the same after all.
The head with the two horns is lowkey distrusting, judgemental and has a sharp tongue, follows your every movement until it deems you are trustworthy, basically the extra pair of eyes that relies information on the Small ThingsTM; The one with the blue rock on top of it's head is soft spoken and has a gentle demeanor, constanly asks things and looks for affection from Beyal by sliding under his arm to be pet. Don't be fooled though, he's smart in a quiet way and works in tandem with the horned head at all times, his search for physical closeness is also a sneaky tactic to shield the young Monk from potential harm, making it easy to scoop him up when he's in danger and they need to move away FastTM. Beyal is 100% aware of this fact and they have this and many other maneouvers like it rehearsed to perfection, they had been hunted down all this time by a madman that wants them dead, after all. Synchrony is Key.
The main head is like the older sibling of the other two, the one that calls the shots when they need to act and pretty much parrots his own side of Beyal's prophetic ramblings.
Lots of bleeping blep, the heads will get closer and on ground level just to smell the air around people with their tongues, is their way of getting acquaintainced.
One of the very few Monsunos that knows things such as how to read books, is well versed in several languages, accurately keeps track of calendars among other Knowledgeable things, pretty much to be expected and inevitable when one is raised by Monks.
Misses the time when the Monks of Tebab where around, they were pretty much his family and he has nothing but fond, bittersweet memories of them. He only has Beyal left and he'll be damned if he lets anyone take him away from him.
Is as much of an infinite source of Knowledge as Beyal, not to brag but his memory is almost flawless and even better with three separate heads to stack it on.
Living proof that the bridge between humans and Monsunos is possible to build with a strong foundation, is just everyone else who needs to catch up.
Classy lady, very charming and outgoing with a subtle mischivous strike.
Everyone's supportive auntie, she's your #1 fan when you need a cheer up.
Very mature and emotionally intelligent, my girl has seen it all.
The best judge of character, she can read people like a book and assess their intentions with almost perfect accuracy. She can tell when someone is lying, so don't even try.
LIVES for the juicy Gossip, tell her EVERYTHING.
On the other hand her temper IS NOT to be messed with, she has eight Long Ass Sharper than Sharp Daggers of Doom as legs and she knows how to use them.
Glowblade may be Beyal's Main Monsuno but SHE calls the shots and keeps the other two in check.
Not mean at all, has a way with words and can let you down or scold you without being rude about it like your wellmeaning, experienced grandma, is her special talent.
Calls others 'Sweetie/Sweetheart' or 'Darling', cute nicknames like that.
Oh boy. He can be a handful sometimes.
Very diligent and dutiful, he likes to be busy and to be assigned JobsTM. Expect nothing but his best every time.
Has an ego, image to maintain and holds himself to very high standars and often projects said standars onto others and expects them to pull their own weight.
He is not a jealous Monsuno though, he will never put down others to make himself look better, he knows his worth and strength and genuinely wants others to achieve their own potential, he has a keen eye for it after all, he knows you can do better! BUUUUUT he can be a little insensitive about it, he sounds more like a stern teacher or a drill sargeant even when he's completely well meaning, Arachnablade has had to smack him over the head more than she can count for this.
They Have A MissionTM, They have Duties; The prophecy! The fate of the world is at stake! why haven't this kids gotten the memo yet??? (Sir, you need to chill)
On the other hand he can be pretty uplifting, Again, he has a very good eye for potential and is pretty straightforward counting your strengths.
Is THIS the one the Prophecy talked about? The universe must have gone MAD.
The Suno boy is enraging on the worst of days and exhausting on the best for this Monsuno, Beyal and Chase have talked and gotten over the whole 'Stolen Visions' argument and dilema, but Mysticblade??? HE WILL NEVER.
His Controller lost HIS GIFT, HIS SOUL AND ALMOST HIS LIFE, SEVERAL ancient sacred sites have been reduced to rubble, dust AND ASHES during their journey, and Chase only proves time and time again just how reckless and irresponsible he is in Mysticblade's eyes, he WILL make his complaints known and is pretty much Chase's biggest, most direct critic in the group.
On one hand, someone had to be honest with Chase and adress the elephant on the room but on the other Mysticblade can go too far if not actively told TO TONE IT DOWN. Chase needs like two seasons of character growth just to get on Mysticblade's good side.
But then he goes and does a complete 180 on Kimi.
Yes. Very disciplined, very good learner. Tips off all his boxes EASY, the universe has choosen well.
The apple of his eye, he's nothing but polite to her.
