The dog days of summer approach. time to myself has reminded me that my own problem is me.

"How should his actions be right who hath no rule of his life? Nothing can be just which proceedeth not from reason."

Fighting off the inconstancy. Fighting off the inertia. Must establish unto myself principles of action, and see that I ALWAYS act upon them.

It is far far too easy to make excuses for onesself, or to dive within the depths of the shallow pool of shame and dismay.
