Hey look! Here’s a comic I drew that will be published in Prophet in the next couple of months. It’s written by Sean Witzke, and colored by Sloane Leong(the best company I could ask to collaborate with, follow them already).

This was so fun to make. Prophet is my all out favorite monthly comic, and I’m honored and excited to be printed alongside such inspiring work.

Hey everybody, I wrote a Prophet backup with Ian MacEwan and Sloane Leong (and Jared Lewis on color flatting). I’m going to have a story in my favorite comic in the world, done with my favorite people in the world. I am so damn psyched for this. I’m like, Hudson level psyched for this. I cannot believe how good these pages look, and I'm so lucky to work with this squad of ultimate badasses.

Looong overdue for an update, so here’s one I’m pretty excited about. Arrow Video announced FEMALE PRISONER SCORPION: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION on blu-ray, and I was asked to provide artwork for the box, booklet, and each film.

LINEWORK NW

I’m tabling at LineworkNW this weekend, all day on Saturday. If you haven’t been, it’s an amazing show, in an amazing venue, and I’m real excited that my first time tabling at a show will be here at this one..

I really wanted to have a book for it, so Jason Leivian and I will be debuting the print version of our comic, The Yankee. It’s 52 pages, and is the “first two issues” as it were. Everything that’s been serialized on Study Group Comics, plus 16 new pages. I have a lot of love for this book, and is something we’ve been working on and off at for a number of years, it’s got the first pages I ever inked with a brush, and pages I finished just last weekend.

I’ll have some new prints of some of my illustration work as well, a few comics I’ve worked on, original pages for sale, and maybe some other small things to round it out.

I’ll also be on a panel, Genre Through the Indie Lens, Saturday evening at 5:30(moderated by the world’s swellest man, Tom Spurgeon)

I hope to see you there, whether at my table on Saturday, or running into me walking around making my wallet cry on Sunday

Over the weekend at ECCC, Dark Horse announced a new book I’ll be involved with. The Tomorrows, written by Curt Pires. Each ish will have a different artist, and Pete Toms(the best) will be coloring it all. I’m on issue 3 and, since it’s been shared around already, here’s the line art for my issue’s cover.
