Color: 0011FF. I have found the shade of cornflowers to be particularly appealing. Of course, this is yet another detrimental vestige of my past life, when it comes to what really matters.

Three emojis: Did you know the world emoji comes from Japanese? It means "electronic character." Character as in a written glyph. Anyway, I've recently had a particular fondness for 🎠🌀🪅. I especially like the way the pinata emoji looks on iOS.
Petri Dish: The OP, BecomingJadeDaveKatYet. As he was the first to make his blog in the image of amijohndaveyet, he is ostensibly patient zero in the onslaught of amiblogs. Upon encountering his blog for the first time, I was so captured and intrigued by its peculiarity -- nay, by its strange elegance -- that I resolved to make one of my own. The blame for all that follows can be placed upon him. I also just find him a really interesting creature in general.
