7. What did their high school love letters look like?

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think she put a lot of personality into her love letters. she wrote them so ridiculously often that it was simpler to have a ubiquitous form letter.

Dear [OBJECT OF AFFECTION],

I’m sending you this note because I’ve liked you for [LENGTH OF TIME]. I like your [ADMIRABLE TRAIT] and [NATIVE SKILL AT ACTIVITY], and your [BODY PART] is/are [SYNONYM FOR ‘ATTRACTIVE’]. I know that you are [NUMBER OF YEARS OLDER THAN ME], but a part of me hopes that you feel the same.

Minako knows every proposal situation and trick in the book, so I can’t see Kunzite blowing her away with any conventional method. So when Kunzite’s ready to do it (Minako was ready for years, she was just waiting for him to get comfortable with the idea), he has to find a way to catch her off guard. 

So he starts taking her out on dates at really nice restaurants once a week, and every time Minako expects the ring to show up. But it doesn’t. They eat and have a good time, and then they go home. After going through that cycle a few times, Minako is practically foaming at the mouth to know what he’s trying to pull. She doesn’t bring it up with him though.

And then Kunzite switches to nice vacations instead. They drive to Okinawa, they go up to Hokkaido, and they even go outside the country a few times. Eventually, Minako relaxes and just enjoys the experience. Maybe he won’t propose right now, but it doesn’t matter. 

One day. he wakes her up and tells her he wants to show her a special place. Kunzite takes Minako’s hands, and they teleport to Elysion. Almost on instinct, she becomes Sailor Venus, and for that one day, it was just like they met 1,000 years ago. They reminisce on their past and waste hours exploring the abandoned buildings and glowing forests. And during one moment of stillness as they sat on a hill overlooking the Golden Kingdom’s palace, Kunzite goes down on one knee in front of her. Having completely forgotten her earlier paranoia over the marriage proposal, Venus is stunned by how far her planned this out. 

Why was I shouldered with this destiny If it is such a sad one?

Why did we meet, My beloved person with whom I cannot be bound?

Since the day I was born, This countdown continues to be engraved. We all head to the demise of our lives, but we Don't stop. We just fight.
