I honestly didnât know the meaning of âdrink the koolaidâ before, I thought it was a silly insult. But I later researched that it has a dark history in how it originated and that now it means to blindly follow someone or some idea. There was a lot of hate that this comment garnered. The third guy who said âlibtwistâ is another guy, not Tom Shattuck.
I got kind of worried if that IS how he really thought of the comment? (And not just saying that as a defense) Was he right to think that way? (I know he insulted me with âlighten upâ but I stayed calm and tries to think that through) Then I commented this to show how I saw this and tweeted to the user who said this to confirm.
My head is spinning. I got super anxious about anxiety (wow), suicide, etc things related to it and the moment some people started going, âHey what if your boss sees this tweet?â I was like, I do NOT want to be responsible for anyoneâs firing.
Did I do anything wrong? This is how OCD I can get (not joking, I HAVE OCD)Â about being âjustâ with someone.
I want your thoughts on my Tweets I honestly didn't know the meaning of 'drink the koolaid' before, I thought it was a silly insult.
