EXTINCTION

The Captain’s killed the rebel queen. He invites her to his private quarters to discuss the conflict aboard the ship following the mysterious release of a virus sample that killed his son. Rumor has it they are coming to an agreement and writing down the terms.  Instead he leans over the conference table and slits her throat. He serves her head on a silver platter. He sends out a broadcast to every individual aboard the Defiance. 30 seconds of video on their port and the message is clear: 

Members of the Rebellion, your time is through. The citizenry is retaking the ship. The corporations are back in control. Your leader is dead and this is your choice: Renounce your politics and join us or join her.

Extinction is 9 months old and was recently updated with a new skin, a plot update, and new subplots.
