Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games of all time! I think Nintendo has done a fabulous job with the creation of all of the cute villagers. I spent a few days on a plane ride playing this game and I decided to draw a few of my favorite villagers but I think this might be the only one I post. 

Blathers! You’re not supposed to tell the patrons that it’s all a game and their life is controlled by larger external forces. It’s supposed to be a secret.

Hazel recently moved off my path, so I drew and scanned this before coming up to the cottage.  I found the poor dear asleep on her feet among all of her packed boxes on moving day.  She must have been packing through the night.  (My little cousin Elio watched me color this.)

I am honoured to introduce to you Mayor Ryan, made into an Animal Crossing style character!  These illustrations commissioned for killajax feature Mayor Ryan and some of his villagers, Dizzy and Margie!  It was brilliant fun collaborating with killajax as we figured out the right colour scheme and design for him, it just made me excited to see more of him~!
