Why, we wonder, does society applaud a girl who falls for a guy’s “big blue eyes,” yet denounces one who chooses a man with a “big green bankroll”?

What’s the difference? Earning power is, after all, a reflection of his values and character. Big blue eyes? Not so much.

The average guy believes most gals are only looking for money, but the truth is too few of us are interested in their income at all. The modern gal is earning her own cash and is looking for emotional security. Too bad it doesn’t exist.

But what about Love???

From the day we’re born we’re immersed in a culture that elevates romantic love over … pretty much everything else. And with true love as our highest goal, marrying for any other reason has come to be seen as just plain wrong. Immoral even.

In much of the world most of the time, romantic love was considered too temporary of an emotion upon which to build a life together. These days it’s considered the only truly moral basis to build a life together. 

social commentators predicted that marrying for love would drive the divorce rate right up around 50%. And they turned out to be right.

When couples started to marry for love, soon afterwards they also sought the right to divorce. 

The reason? If being in love is a valid reason to marry, then being out of love is a valid reason to divorce. 

How long does romantic love last? Answer: 18 to 24 months, tops.

The latest scientific studies say that “romantic love” is not love at all. It’s a thrill that always fades away. Well-invested mutual funds, however, last much longer.

Armed with science, no one needs to blame a partner for not being the same “Schnookums” you first met. Your brain simply went back into proper balance and that wondrous bio- chemical experience that once controlled your every thought either evolved or dissolved.

The quest for romantic love is so powerful that many a smart girl will lose all rational thought and become victim to cons and slackers who only want to take advantage of her youthful search for “The One.” 

Don’t Waste Your Looks on a Mediocre Man!

Good looks are a woman’s most fungible asset, exchangeable for social position, money, and even love. 

The same societal norms that condemn us for looking for a man with resources, encourage and reward men who go after a woman for her resources: her figure and her fertility.  

Dutifully, a modern gal might go bankrupt trying to look beautiful and sexy—in increasingly drastic ways. 

We’ll put our lives at risk to plump our puckers, boost our breasts or revive our virginity. 

It appears the ladies are going all out to hold up their side of the deal. And the guys? Well, somewhere along the way, the deal broke down. Women are now denounced as gold-diggers for desiring our balance of the bargain. 

These days most girls just hope to find a guy with a nice-fitting pair of pants and a job 

Why do women work so hard to look good while plenty of guys lie around in sweat pants playing video games? Probably because there aren’t a lot of good men around. 

Great looks gives women the power to choose. So choose wisely.

Use your sex appeal to score a man who earns while you’re still young!

It may sound harsh, and it is harsh, but it’s true. Let’s highlight the reasons:

Your sexual power is unstoppable when you are young. 

You may not believe it now, but you will get older.

You will get tired.

Many of us have found that getting it all often costs more than having it all is worth. Why? Well, partly because for working gals, having it all also means doing it all. 

On the other hand, many men focus first and foremost on having a great career—and then maybe a hot wife who’ll take care of all the rest

And when they accumulated enough wealth when they’re 40 or older, they are still (or more) attractive to the opposite sex and physically able to start a family. For women in this position, its just not the case…

Economic resources never get angry, ask if you’ve gained weight, or forget to call home.

Even if your husband leaves you for someone younger or you get sick of hanging out with your old man, with a few bucks in your pocket you can live well, pursue a successful career, and still have a shot at “true love.”

Marrying well while young is a smart girl’s best chance to “have it all.”

Remember your hotness is a commodity. Don’t just spend it for the sake of being admired. Instead, try to use it to get something tangible you can take into your old age

You need to be smart because you won’t be the hottest girl in the room forever. 

All girls need to look ahead and fight for their financial futures.

The average married woman’s standard of living lags only a little behind that of men. But if the marriage crashes, it’s the women who are exposed to an extremely high risk of poverty. Why? Because on average married women make half what their husbands earn.

The data is clear: If you depend on your career, and then marry just for love with no concern for your spouse’s ability to earn, you’re very likely to end up abandoned or broke or both.

One out of every five elderly women who is alone at retirement will be living below the poverty level. Alone, wrinkled and broke? It doesn’t sound like a very good deal to us.

It may just be better for your health and your wealth to marry a man, than to act like one!
