How to Take Control of Negative Emotions
1. Don’t take every thought and feeling seriously. Both of those tend to be patterned and habitual. Thus, they are not necessarily accurate and reliable.
2. Don’t blow small things out of proportion. Take control of your thinking and keep things in perspective. Don’t allow yourself to dwell on negatives, or critical thoughts.
3. Accept that we’re all hit by negative emotions. It’s a fact of life – and is unavoidable.
4. Work on strategies that work for you, and that help distract you from the way you feel.
5. Deliberately think about more positive things – like what is going well, or the things you’re thankful for – then shrug your shoulders and move on with your day.
6. Notice your triggers – the things that bother you, attack your self esteem and your self confidence – so you recognise the patterns and can plan how best to cope.

Choose YOU. Believe in YOU.

A Moment
It’s crazy to think that for a split second everything could be perfect and then the next everything has gone completely wrong. You learn every day through out life that everything comes from the choices we make but it is so easy to blame others for what’s taken place in your life.
I have learned over the years that my circumstances are because of my conscious decisions. I knew better but now I know better. It is easy to blame someone else.
I have had people fall off from me simply because I chose to react and act a certain way. In this moment I have made the CHOICE to no longer think for someone else or make decisions based off of someone else’s needs or feelings. I have to make choices for ME.
-Make the choice.
-Make the change.
People will hate you for simply being YOU and when they can’t get to you then you have grown.
I have taken ownership of my bad decisions.

“All alone in the struggle No tellin’ what I’m facin’ Let the fake ones come ‘n’ go But the real, you cant replace 'em”
— J Hind
“I have spent my whole life terrified. Scared of things that could go wrong. Things that might happen; things that might not happen. But in time I’ve seen that it’s fear that’s the real enemy. So get up. Get out there, and live the life you want to live.”

How to Cope with Blah Days
1. Recognise that it’s a feeling – and our moods go up and down. Shrug your shoulders, grit your teeth and choose to make it through the day. Nothing’s really wrong – and there is nothing wrong with you. It’s just the way you’re feeling – and our feelings usually change.
2. Don’t be hard and condemn yourself. Don’t beat yourself up for feeling miserable and blah, or for feeling apathetic and low on energy. Be patient, understanding and gentle with yourself. You’re no worse than others as we ALL have blah days
3. Do something rather that nothing. Do a few mindless tasks so you don’t just waste the day – and you’re likely to feel better once those you’ve got those out the way as they’re usually the things that you never want to do!
4. Only do as much as you have to. It’s going to take all your strength just to make it through the day. Preserve your energy – and allow some things to slide. You can always get round to them another day.
5. Be extra nice to yourself. One of the best ways to fight a bleary day is to be nice to yourself and to do the kinds of things that help to lift your mood and to brighten up your day. For example, go out for a coffee, or have a bubble bath, turn up your favourite music or call a bunch of friends. Do all the kinds of things you know will help to boost your mood.
6. Remind yourself that it’s likely to pass. A bad day is just a day. It’s not the whole of your life. It just means that right now you want to crawl back into bed. It doesn’t mean your goals are wrong or that you won’t succeed in life! You’re just having a bad day – and it’s likely to pass.

“When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That’s the message he is sending.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh
That’s the thing about deletion. It’s not always permanent. There are many reasons why you wanna recover a file you just deleted. When you have that moment of panic, where it hits you, where that thing you thought had no value suddenly becomes important. Where you suddenly find new purpose for it. Maybe there are still things left for me to do.
Elliot Alderson, Mr Robot
