God, Tumblr was my life growing up. I just watched a video on youtube about some internet lore and Tumblr was a big part of the story and I just started feeling really nostalgic. I'm honestly surprised all of this is still up and running. I remember the hours I spent customizing my page, making my own gifs and most of all: writing fan fictions. I made some amazing friends, that I sadly lost touch with. But this will always be such a special place for me and I honestly don't know if I would have made it through my teen years without this. I was always so lost and lonely and I was able to create a home here.

Scrolling through my old posts definitely makes me cringe, but it's also fun to see what was going on in my head. And I forgot so much! There were fan fictions I posted I don't even remember writing...

I'm now 28. Looking through my Tumblr archive, I saw I created this account August of 2011 when I was 16. Going through the first posts and all, I realize I came here through Twitter, and now I remember chatting with someone on there a lot about Big Time Rush who was active on Tumblr. And then One Direction came. And then Teen Wolf.
