I appreciate these new directions Grimes is heading in. 

I don’t agree with this person’s take on the development of chivalry and courtly love, as even then honorific politeness was backed up by the implied use of force if “romantic diplomacy” failed, but I do think that the invention of this practice obviously created a barrier to what “consensual BDSM” provides a  release for.  

The thing that strikes me about this is that this guy would be the ultimate "Daddy-Dom" type if he weren't so obviously deranged.
