As I mentioned before, Kage is the shadow/assasin of the Shane gang. But also can pull off infiltration missions from time to time really handy when you’re dumbass twin is literally throwing himself in dangerous situations all the time!

I mean, seriously, this kid spends an entire year, just fighting in Slugterra, he's been betrayed on several occasions, like he straight up let's Twist and Tad in his home, calls them his friends and they stab him in the back.

Is either being compared to his dad, or blamed for things his dad did.

Is probably dealing with the dilemma that his father is a murderer, as we still don't know what exactly happened to Tom Por or if Will Shane actually killed him.

Saw his dad tackle Blakk and the Goon into that Terra portal thing, after having him back for probably less than an hour.

Burpy, his best friend, almost died.

Was under the Goons influence and hurt in friends, probably causing some self-loathing.

Eli Shane is a kid, barley a teenager. He is put into an adults world, to be the symbol of hope, and the figure to rally behind.

I get having a figure that can be seen as pillar of strength can rally people to do the impossible, but why does that figure have to be Eli?

This 15 year old kid is doing what should have been done since his father's absence was noticed.

He makes bad puns, intentionally antagonizes people he knows could crush him, and once tricked Nacho into taking a fake map that had a crude picture of Nacho himself on it.

He reprimanded a group of slug hunters then they were looking for the Enigmo Slug.

To Sargeant Slugs face, tells him that his(Eli's) Slugs won't be partaking in the 'training' and he's just there for the pool. To freaking freeload. And yeah, Pronto paid the Club Slug fees already, but it has to sting knowing you have a Shane in your establishment, but there only there because they kinda had no choice and for your waterslide. Like imagine the profits that would bring in having a local celebrity using what you advertised.

Pranks is team in Deadweed in the most hilarious way. Before getting them inadvertently trapped like an idiot.

Being a smug little flopper as his Slugs come crashing in on a humongous elephant mecha, effectively convincing everyone his Slugs know how to drive.

Eli Shane is many things, but most importantly, he is a 15 year old boy just trying his best. And when his best isn't enough, his friends are there to back him every step of the way.

But then an again he’s pretty much somewhat of a feral teenager. The poor kid is doing what he can to help others yet also struggling a lot with so much shit that he’s suppressing it to the point that it’s gonna blow up eventually.

Going off the Theory that the Surface and Slugterra where once more connected, with travel between the two, its not hard to imagine there where depictions of things from the Surface, like the sun rising painted on the Cavern walls like cave paintings

As for my own theory:

Doc wanted to spend some time with the inhabitants of Slugterra and stay down-to-earth because he saw that his brothers and sisters (the elementals) were getting more and more egotistical, and to stop that, he transformed himself into a Boon Doc.

This transformation cost him his power level as well as some memories of being an Elemental. Hence why he was getting more powerful over the course of the series until Return of the Elementals where he gained all power and memories back.

This is genuinely the most pleasant thing that ever happened like LOOK AT THAT DESIGN!! It’s so fucking cuteeeee and is connects to the elementals!

Wild Mane, Maddison 'Maddie' Coleman ladies and gentleslugs!

Girly was ready pop Powder in Blakk's F A C E but didn't because she's above that.

So fun facts- Maddies wig is homage to her adoptive aunt, and the previous Lustrous Mane, who's hair was Brown with a Blond fade.

Since losing the wig, and deciding to rock her natural hair, she dyed the ends yellow, as her aunt was a big part of her life, and she wants to keep honoring her in some way.

Maddie and Eli being cousins is fun :)

so, to clear up the Shane family tree for the Man-Down AU a little:

As you can see, Jimmo's side of the family is a mess lol.

What isn't shown on the chart is the fact Jimmo has three other kids from three other flings. They weren't included because they honestly don't show up, but they are out there(and their might be more, go wild ig)-

Blite's first fling, and Maddie's mom, was part of a traveling troop that stopped in New Neo for a performance, and would be staying for a while, they hooked up, Maddie's mom found out she was pregnant late, since she wanted to continue dancing she gave Maddie to Blite, and isn't all that involved in Maddie's life, just sending the occasional letter and package.

no mommy issues tho, Maddie honestly dose not think much of her mom, and her choice's, and views her more so to an estranged aunt, though she caught one of her mom's performances while she was traveling around Slugterra before joining the Gang, and got to chat with her a little before parting way's.

Sally is also Blite's kid, but she's Maddie's half-sister, same dad, different moms.

When Maddie was like, 3-4 Blite helped out Silvana by manning the Bar for a Bachelorette Party she was organizing, and Blite ended up hooking up with one of the bridesmaid's, couple weeks later she found out she was pregnant with Sally, but by then she had met someone else, and the guy stuck around, not caring if Sally was his or not.

Sally's mom got in contact with Blite just about a year before he went off the rails, since Sally was asking why she didn't look like her adopted dad, and they had plans to introduce the girls to each other, but then Blite went off his rocker and that was put on the backburner lol.

Blite dose not remember to say shit about Sally to Maddie till after Bandoleer or Brothers. That was a bomb she was not expecting haha.

also Marylin died when Blite was around 15-16, before that, his mom had been training him and Maddeline, Dalia and Silvana's adopted human daughter. The three older Woman where really close, so Blite and Maddeline basically grew up as siblings, and Maddeline was able to inherit the 'Mane' mantle.

Maddison, was named after Maddiline since Maddeline had helped Blite so much, being his rock and platonic soulmate. So it absolutely crushed him when she passed.

I think its genuinely funny Maddie looks like Will/a Young Jimmo Shane when her hair is tied up and just, triggers Eli with his family stuff, so much so Maddie just, let's it down, to keep him from spiraling.

They both very much so don't know what to make of the cousin stuff, but after a while, they think it's grate. Eli was feeling a little shitty and lonely, in the sense his Dad is in a Coma and his grate uncle is so far away topside. and Maddie is low-key missing her dad, Blite, and just the connection of family all around, especially since she doesn't get to see her grandma's often.

So having a relative around to just, vibe with is nice. Even if Eli can't share the Shane Secrets.

speaking of those, Maddie staying Maddie Coleman and not becoming Maddie Shane is important, as Maddie is her fathers daughter, like how Eli in his fathers son. Maddie is a Coleman, and she already had her own legacy, as an Entertainment Duelist to live up to, she dose not need the Shane baggage as well.

ALSO MADDIE'S CHI! YEAA FUN TIME- okay so- as mentioned in the previous New Neo Posts [X] and [X] one of the original previous funders was one of Junjie's ancestor that ended up in the 99 caverns by pure chance, and taught the art of Slug-Fu to others. but as time went by and no one fully mastered the art, a lot of it was lost and modified into becoming the base of the New Neo martial arts style. however, sometimes, those that practice it can actually learn a very diluted Slug-Fu and by proxy, diluted Chi usage, [and we are going to play by Star War's rules here with this stuff], without a proper master though, it's not stable and can put strain on the body.

hence why Maddie dose not use it often, same with Ace and Doc/Zelda. Maddie's Chi tends to respond when she's feeling high emotions, particularly anger, and that can be dangerous as she can lose control if she loses herself in it. hence why Maddie tends to keep a light and breezy personality for the most part.

obviously when Junjie come's along, he's going to teach Maddie, but unlike Eli who has an affinity for it, Maddie is going to struggle, mainly because she had been doing it the New Neo way, and having to more or less unlearn a lot of that is difficult. compared to Eli who basically starts from scratch.
