Y’all, I’ve been in fandom space for 13ish years now. I’ve fallen in love with dynamics between characters, the premise of a story, the universe in which a story is placed, the way a specific relationship is built/developed, thefanon decisions regarding characters and/or specific choices of the authors, but I haven’t fallen in love with a single specific character since I watched The Doctor teach Rose (and me) that life is worth it even when it’s boring, monotonous, painful, depressing, makes you think it’s not worth any effort at all. The Doctor taught me to fake a smile until you find a reason for it to be real and that anything can be a reason for that smile to be real.

When I was 14 and suffering from depression that I didn’t have words for and couldn’t communicate to anyone around me no matter how hard I tried, I fell in love with The Doctor because he understood and was going through the same thing, and as I watched him heal I thought that maybe I could heal to. I have, somewhat ( the store bought neurotransmitters work and I have coping mechanisms and a support network in place for the bad days).

Since then I have loved stories and the community of fandom and the edits and enhancements to canon that fandom brings, but I have never loved a single, specific character the way I loved the Doctor. And now 13 years later I fell in love with a character to the point I have been practicing drawing to be able to draw fanart of him and I have been itching to pick up my pen and dust off my writing skills. And I wonder if there is a secret about myself that I’m about to unlock (the way I unlocked knowledge of depression) or if I just need to get out in the world and make friends. Because this guy, even the fans who genuinely love him have to admit, is a pervert and not a great guy. But heavens above I can’t stop thinking of head cannons or plots of fics I’ll probably never write, or different scenes for fanart.

And it’s freaking Meliodas from The Seven Deadly Sins. Our first introduction to him is a totally unflappable guy who looks like he could be a child running a tavern and our second impression is him groping an unconscious girl. Like I should by all rights hate him but instead I’m over here plotting fics like it’s nothing and desperately wishing for more content of this man and his friends, like what?

It’s been a month and normally I would have jumped fandoms by now, but this little pervert has found his way into my heart and my head and I think I’ll probably be here for a while.

@emilywaters Here’s my Heizou!

I use surfs up purely for crit dmg, but the Widsmith or Polar star are better options for passive.

4 peice viri gives him extra swirl dmg which you need for Heizou’s E. If you can/want i suggest getting an anemo sands on the artifact transmuter after 5.5, if not atk also works.

for talents focus on his E, the heartstopper strike, then his normal attack, then the wind muster kick.

That’s it for the build but i only run an off field applicator for Heizou and furina when i get her burst up. That’s about it! Lmk if you have any more questions!
