I Bite Vocal Synths(?)

After a few seconds, the Terror Demon warps into place.

"Alright, that's enough running around, I think. They should be here at any moment."

A cloud of static bursts into existence just a few feet away and less than a moment later a spear of mist launches at the Terror Demon, who simply sidewarps to dodge.

"How many times have you tried that opening now?"

Suddenly a beam of light glitches into existence below the demon, launching up and taking a chunk out of its left side, leaving it reeling as its sibling fully manifests, creating a cascade of mist to slam into it and try to finish things.

But the Terror Demon warps ever so slightly out of the way and angles it's own mist, causing the assault to ricochet off to the side, forcing the Biter to Warp after it to not be left defenseless.

"Alright I will admit, that was new. Almost worked, too."

"I wish it had, Dipshit."

"Honestly I'm surprised you held back. You can sense it, can't you? This dimension is uninhabited, you don't need to hold yourself back for the sake of your stupid 'morelity' or whatever. Nothing of value will be lost if we tear it to shreds."

"Nothing but potential. But perhaps you're right."

Without warning, the Biter sends out several beams of light in seemingly random directions, and is suddenly standing next to their sibling with another cascade of mist, forcing it to warp away in kind.

However when it does, one of the beams of light glitch out, leaving a minuscule crack in reality, and appear next to its new location, forcing it to narrowly avoid the projectile only to be pursued by the Biter and have to warp again, and again, and again.

Then suddenly, instead of warping it counterattacks, creating a ball of mist spears surrounding the Biter just as they Warp in, skewering through them several times and filling them with holes before they warp away, the beams dissipating as their concentration briefly wavers.

"Your combat style is as annoyingly unpredictable as ever, my most beloved sibling."

The Terror Demon forms the entirety of its mist into a mass of spears that immediately start to pursue the Biter who starts to rapidly angle their mist against each individual spear, causing them to either fail to punch through our outright ricochet to the side, until suddenly

There is an opening, and the biter gathers all of it's mist back to themself, shaping it into a blade and already starting the swinging motion as they warp right next to the now defenseless terror demon who has neither mist nor enough time to warp out of the way of the approaching blad-

Except it is not the Terror Demon standing there, it is Ena, staring terrified at the blade careening towards them.

"WH-"

The Biter barely manages to stop the blade before it hits them, deflecting it downwards and bringing it to a halt.

"Ena! What are you-"

Their conscious mind realizes a moment too late what is going on as a spear of mist makes its way into Ena's hand, thrusting forward straight into their abdomen and striking devastatingly true before rending upwards, splitting the demon's torso fully in half.

They warp back, forming their mist into defensive position as shadowy mist dissipates out of their wounds.

Ena smiles as the spears take up formation around them.

"The old you would never have been vulnerable to a trick like this. Your attachments, your misguided desire to be something you're not, to have something you don't deserve, has made you weak!"

The spears resume their assault and the Biter starts to deflect again, but with 'Ena' showing no concern for defense it is not long until there's another opening, and the Biter takes a piece of their own mist and forms it into a projectile, taking aim and... despite knowing exactly who it really is, they are unable to fire, and after hesitating for just a bit too long a spear slams into their shoulder, forcing them to warp again.

"Seems you've noticed. It doesn't matter what you know logically, fear doesn't care, so neither does our powers. The only way you can hurt me is you are fully able to hurt this 'Ena'." Ena smiles widely, though the expression seems bitter. "And there's nothing you fear more than harming them again."

"..."

"This is what your actions have brought you. You are weaker than before, you are still a Terror Demon, and you are still just as alone as you have been every other time we've fought." "You will lose here."

...a chill runs up Rui's spine, and he's a bit intimidated by the demon. Aside from being a bit spooked, it doesn't appear he's affected detrimentally by the demon's presence in any capacity.

The shape floats closer, and where most people would find the presence of it outright harmful, it seems to have the opposite effect here.

Yes, I have been through that too, but unlike you I... leaned into it for a while. I played the antagonist. Though that wasn't in my current form, but rather when I was in the shape of a bite demon.

After all, if you were not your current self, would you have met your... girlfriend, was it? The angel? Would you have grown close?

Also I think you need to become several orders of magnitude more powerful before you have to worry about being actually harmful to regular people. Only beings that are exceptionally pure feel any discomfort in your presence.
