Hey everyone! Surprise surprise, it’s a new, free game!

Poppy’s Burger Birthday Bash is a side-scrolling platformer where you play as Poppy Sunflower, who uses a Pellet Gun to make flower platforms and solve little puzzles. His goal is to help feed Inky burgers and grab a whole lotta candy.

This game was made in about 13 days as a birthday gift to my best friend Inky Firefly (nsfw link). He’s a great friend who’s stuck by me since 2007 and has been a big help with things. Poppy and Inky are his characters, with Poppy being one of my earliest favorites!

I was trying out a couple things with this, like testing a faster development cycle and putting my new sprite style to a game. It’s buggy, but I think it turned out pretty good, and I might explore small games like this in the future. I think I’ll call them Pocket Games.
