First Encounter | H & Jonghyun
It was 4 in the morning and Hyuna was just leaving the club. It had been a long day and night for her. Her shift at the bookstore had been boring. There hadn’t been that many customers and just sitting around waiting for someone to come in had made her tired. The club had been tiring as well. Although she was used to spending hours at the club bartending and helping the DJ getting people on the dance floor by dancing. Tonight had taken its toll. She had spent hours dancing nonstop and by the end of the night she was ready to collapse in her bed.
Leaving the club she began the 20 block walk to her home. The streets were calm and quiet which she was grateful for. She was passing by one of the few alleys on her way home when she sounds coming from it. Taking out her phone and using it as a flashlight she chose to investigate the sound despite her better judgment telling her to run. Looking around she found a large dog laying on the ground whimpering. Flashing the light on the dog she saw blood coming from its front right paw and from its side. Not wanting to leave the dog to suffer. She carefully picked it up.
She didn’t know how she did it but somehow she managed to carry the large dog up the stairs to her rooftop apartment. Placing the dog down on the picnic table she had on the patio she went inside. Placing some old blankets she no longer used on the ground by the couch and a first aid kit on the coffee table she went back outside to bring the dog inside. After cleaning the blood off its paw and side she grabbed a bowl and filled it with water and placed by the sleeping dog. Â
Going into her room she locked her bedroom door just in case the dog woke up in the middle of night and decided to attack her.
