What do you love about being hypnotised?

My ability for amnesia. I love being able to forget I was even tranced or that scenes even happened, and then, having a realization. The feeling of losing control while having someone I completely trust with me. I know I can totally let go with someone I trust and that's so special- feeling myself just give all of myself to them.

What do you love about hypnotising people?

The complete trust they give me. That's so special. I'm honored. Seeing their eyes glaze over. Eyes roll back. Eyes fluttering. Seeing them go completely limp and flop into hypnosis.

25. Have you ever experienced strong, sudden feelings for a hypnotist/subject? How did you deal with that?

Oh, absolutely. And anon, you are either currently dealing with this or will deal with this cause it happens to almost everyone. Hypnosis is so intimate. Forget the sexy stuff that we throw in. The act of hypnosis alone is so tailored, personal, and intimate. Think of it like a therapeutic relationship. It's cold and harsh to say it like that. If they've asked for flirting and everything, go for it. Otherwise, think of what it would be like having feelings for a client. Hope that helps!

This was REALLY fun and well-made! Something about your voice and cadence just made me drop quite quickly - or rather, fall.

Funnily enough, this being the first time I even considered "fall" as an alternative to "drop", I actually had the opposite conceptualization of that word. Maybe it's because English is not my first language, and "fall" is a word I learned far earlier and have far more immediate connection with, but I had a sensation of quickly and rapidly falling downwards associated with that word. Huh, you learn something new everyday!

jewish friends and i consider it the “gentile holiday”, as it is the one that makes them feel as though they are being accommodating and respectful of our culture because we have the potential to take off for christmas which is “basically chanukah, and their most important holiday too”

it is a minor holiday celebrating a war victory and an oil miracle.

but of course, we never talk about the other minor holidays. because they don’t intercept with christian holidays.

i’ve had people argue with me at length that western society is not christian-centric. this alone should be enough evidence.
