her wand was broken years ago, and the one she stole from a man in st. petersburg was only capable of so much. selene wasnât someone who allowed herself to be limited. when she had tried to go to ollivanderâs she quickly realized the store was closed for the evening (really businesses need to start thinking about their night time customers, she was lucky to be as comfortable in the sun as she was, not many of her kind could say the same) so she had to find someone to help. after asking around quite a few patrons of the alley, she discovered one employee was still enjoying their drink.Â
the leaky cauldron was too loud for her taste, and it brought back too many memories. of him, her nikolai. it was all a bit much for selene her ears already ringing from the noise of everyone, and the smell and temptation leaving that familiar itch in the back of her throat. the advantage of being around her own kind was she didnât have to pretend to be something better then she was. when selene heard them call out to her, it was a relief to having something to focus on in the sea of stimulation. âno, i canât say i enjoy this place much at all.â she explained a polite smile rising to her face hoping the slight visibility of fangs wouldnât scare them. âi was actually, i know the shop is closed for the evening but i am in desperate need of a wand. i heard you might be able to help?â
will watched her carefully, it wasnât the first time someone had gone out of their way to find them and beg for them to open the wand shop. it wasnât really their choice when to open and close, ollivander ran a tight ship, but sometimes they could figure out an exception if they needed to. âah.â will nodded, giving her a once over and a smile.Â
âa wand you say?â they sighed, taking it upon themselves to go ahead and finish their drink. âi could make it happen. comes at a bit of a steeper price after hours though, something you can manage?â will smirked, it was payment for willâs sake, in the case something happened of course. âanything in particular or?â they stood from the bar, already deciding they could spare some time that night and help her out.
