Mabel tossed the spoon aside and brought the bowl to her mouth. She began drinking right from it. Oh god she was slurping too. She tilted her head back, trying to chug and chew as fast as she could. Finally, she slammed the now almost empty bowl down and started coughing.
She spat out a clump of half chewed cereal back into the bowl, shrugged and went back to eating and talking at the same time.
“What? You’re not gonna stay?”

Honestly?? Habit should have grown to expect nothing LESS from this girl. He wasn’t sure why he was even surprised, at this point. And yet, here he was: practically cowering as he backed away from this visual affront.
Admittedly, though, the moment Mabel started coughing was the moment that Habit paused- fear constricting in his chest as he turned to look back at her. Reaching out, just on impulse, had proven to be a waste of time, however, as-
