It’s that time of year again! Time for me to ask you to please consider voting for my painting in the Art Vs. Art competition!
Art Vs. Art is a painting competition in which losing paintings are destroyed on stage in a variety of wild ways! The contest takes place each fall in Indianapolis.
Artists get together on paint day where they are given a set of supplies and a 4 hour time limit to create their paintings. After this, there is an online voting to determine the top 32 paintings that will make it to the event floor.
The event is held on Friday, September 23rd. Live voting at the event will narrow down the paintings on the floor to the top 16 paintings for head-to-head votes on the stage. Winners of head-to-head votes will move on to the next round, while losing paintings will either be auctioned off or spin the WHEEL OF DEATH.
It’s a LOT of fun and I really enjoy participating and watching each year. This competition always helps motivate me to create more art, and I learn a lot from the experience.
You must select three paintings to vote for, the confirm your vote by email. My painting is number 37, and I’d really appreciate your support! The position of the paintings on the voting page is random each visit, so you may have to search for mine if you’d like to vote for it.
I always get nervous asking for votes, but I know it’s a part of the competition. Plus, even if you don’t vote for my little witch, I want to share this link so that you can see all the paintings by the super creative people who also entered!
