“Twelve, why?” Why has a lot of people been asking her this lately? Especially now of all times. Just a few days later she’d be thirteen and she can brag about that.

“Not a lot of twelve-year-old humans are seen carrying an axe..” He chuckled, floating around her in the air. “Are you.. violent.. or just helpful?”

      “Mhmm. Sure. Anyway, what have you even been up to? Massacre anyone? Burn any villages down? Eat any Hylian hearts?”

      “It may have been a while, but I don’t ever recall giving you any form of permission to call me DEAR. Let alone ‘My Dear’. I am not your dear, thank you very much.”

“Well then, no need for attitude.” he grinned and held up his hands. “I meant nothing by it, I assure you.”

“I don’t know… my mom and dad are kinda short maybe that’s why. I’m not that young though.” She was almost 13 so she was practically an adult!

“May I ask.. how old are you?” he’s not going to ask about the axe, however- he doubted that she could hit him with it and even if she could, he further doubted it would hurt.
