the main thing i wish every single person who got into or ever got into the onceler/askblog fandom knew was: every single character is written by one person... (i mean sometimes blogs have multi-mods but what i mean is) like...this is not some overall collaborative writer thing. or one person writing everything.
when you single out one character for better or for worse, you have to be. careful dude. you have to be really careful.
if you start saying stuff like "shoe-ler is my absolute favorite blog! it has the best art! i love him so much more than the rest! he does something none of the others do!" it feels like shit to everyone who isn't shoe-ler's mod
or "i wish grudge-ler was fucking dead. he's such a piece of shit. trash character." do you really want grudge-ler's mod to see that???
please please please be mindful of what you say about characters in this fandom. it's not like other fandoms, okay?
i'm not saying you cant gush or that you can't react or that you can't like...do analysis on characters. you're allowed to have faves and you're allowed to not like things, just think about others before you voice it. (or in some cases keep it to DMs/private spaces)
i've been in the fandom since march 2012, i've seen this kinda stuff kill the creativity, confidence, and motivation for askblog mods over and over again
