                            “ and we can kick ass , ” rose weakly chuckled before shaking her head , a hand reaching out to lissa’s . holding her best friends hand with absolute sincerity . “ no , i don’t . but we are going as precaution . dimitri and i won’t let you go alone , but we won’t babysit you . it’s going to be fine , lis . i promise . ”

                                          “ i think we are all experiencing those , ” natasha sighed softly , her life had changed the second the soul stone decided to reunite her soul with her body . to bring her  b a c k  to the world of the living . still consumed by fear . sam was her friend , they had spent years together with steve , the rouge avengers , hidden in the shadows and protecting people . “ please , sam . i’d rather you not say that word . . . but yes . i mean i have to be right ? we have a world to keep living in , to keep protecting . i will be okay . i’m the black widow , i’ve been through worse than death . ”

                            “ and do what ? try and live my life without my brother . without this family i want ? ” her family needed her , her brother needed her . she was finding a purpose in the london institute . one that she had never experienced before . she was with her brother , her william . she didn’t know exactly what she had seen magnus do , but it was shady . something didn’t seem right , and she questioned it . quicker than she probably should have . hands in her coat pockets , the young training shadowhunter only wanted to be more a part of what was happening , not pushed to the side like some petulant child . “ maybe you can tell me what’s going on mr . bane . i want to be able to help . ”

                             being with her sister was something lissa wanted to always be doing . to be experiencing their crazy life together , no animosity , just two sisters walking through life . “ he is more than worthy if that princess is you , jill . i just want you to be happy , that’s what you deserve . you are a princess to me , my little princess . ” she cupped her sister’s cheek , a soft smile curled lissa’s lips . “ good , things wouldn’t be right if you didn’t feel safe . ”

                                “ no i get it , banshee’s , werewolves , it’s a whole different kettle of fish . ” lydia sighed gently , it was strange to start talking about what she was . who her friends were . trying to explain the world of the supernatural so the people of her town would be safe . she felt like she could trust stefan , that he’d understand her and believe in her equally . “ yeah , werewolves , werecoyotes , kitsune’s . there is more than you would believe , trust me . all different kinds of supernatural nasties come knocking on all our doors . ”

                              “ yeah , ” her word soft , rory was surprised at how he was taking this . she was pregnant with his child , there was more to this . they hadn’t planned it , this was as unexpected as they were . “ you haven’t noticed me shaking ? ” her hand lifted as she showed the shaky fingers from caffeine withdrawal . “ i won’t , logan . not when i just want to curl up with you and sleep . and forget the fact that i can’t have coffee , do you know how hard this has been to keep this kid from my mother , i had to decline coffee from her yesterday and she got very suspicious , give it a day and she’ll be asking questions . ” it wasn’t like she was a teenager like her mom was , she was an adult . it was time . just unexpected . “ logan , how are you actually feeling about this ? ” 

                                 " so what ? you’re telling me there ain’t any dustin or fangs on your kind ? ” she had to bite back the laughter threatening to leave her lips . faith was used to the morphing fangs , bumpy foreheads and easy dusting of vampires at the end of her stake . “ remind me why i should be careful of you ? you know who i am right ? what i am ? ” 

                           " you know you’re not the only one who is strong ,  you called me remember ” rose crossed arms over her chest as she eyed the redhead . sure she was the black widow , she was strong and willful , but rose’s neck was tattooed with her  v i c t o r i e s  and she owned her strength . owned who she was . “ did you require more fire power or something ? why else would you have called me here ? ”

                           " ugh , don’t remind me that henry is rumplestilskin’s son and the saviors kid as well . too many bad genes , ” regina spat out , rolling eyes as she eyed baelfire . her arms crossed over her shirt , chest somewhat puffed as she raised a quizzical eyebrow to neal , she had to be certain her kid wouldn’t get hurt . “ and where will ms . swan be ? i will not have henry privy to your shenanigans . ”

                            “ i know lissa , ” rose couldn’t help the exasperation that trickled into her words , but she was over talking about it . dimitri tried , but gods could he not get through to her some nights . talking about her feelings , wasn’t exactly a  c o m m o n  trait in hathaway women . inwardly smiling at the mention of dimitri , it was the one good thing about returning to the academy . “ college students who know how to kill strigoi . ” as evident by the molnija marks on both dimitri and rose .

                             biting back a scoff , the fae continued to sharpen her nails , crossed legs as she didn’t even bother to look up at the other . “ who said anything about caring ? ”

                             amarantha didn’t do hot , she did furious . her blood boiled , how could some petulent human scum best her . no . she wouldn’t stand for any of it . “ and when my nails shove deep inside your throat , will i be hot then ? ” her voice raised as the hand decorated with jurian’s finger bone clawed at the other . “ leave me . ”

                              evie sighed , she knew her best friend wasn’t happy at auradon , that her heart still somewhat belonged to the isle . but they were in a better place now , if only evie could help mal see it . sitting down beside her , she placed a soft hand on mal’s thigh . “ but you have your life , you just want terrorising back . mal , i just want you to see that it’s better for us here . ”
