“Now that’s just no fun. The best part is seeing who would play you. It’s a small town, but we have a whole beach and LA is close by. The world in general, but mostly Astoria. Exactly, they’re amazing. I’ll save you a seat, but you’re gonna hate sitting next to us. I tend to be pretty loud during movies.”

“Nobody can play me better than life has played me already, this clown costume is not just for show. We have a whole beach yeah, but i’m not super keen on the water and sand, mostly because of past experiences. Getting sand out of your butthole is hell, or so I’ve heard. Doubt it, I love Jessa, and I’ll have a bag of peanuts handy so when you open your mouth I’ll throw one in and hope for the best.”

“Well, duh. As I should be. Because obviously I am the most brilliant artist of this generation. How thoughtful of you. Although we both know that Rose totally had room for Jack on that door. Selfish bitch.” She replied, barely able to force the words out without laughing. “If I’m anything like the rest of my family, nothing will age me but I do so appreciate your concern.” 

“Picasso better step off. One would argue of all the generations. She just wanted some rich dick now that she had her fill of peasant penis. We been knew.” He laughed. “So you’ve found the secret of Keanu Reeves, are you the internet’s girlfriend then or a vampire, I mean both are hot.”

“Not unless they made a movie about it.” He joked back. “Good. Honestly, I’ll be surprised if that many people choose not to go. There’s nothing we do better as a town than pretend like everything’s fine. We have a pretty good line up. Some great, some comically bad, but everything is fun. Not if you don’t want to.”

“With their casting choices I wouldn’t allow it unless it was me.” he grinned. “I mean it’s not like there’s a lot to do. I think that’s just the world in general, we like to pretend. The comically bad are the best ones, ugh terrible acting and a terrible script make my night better. I’ll be there, make sure you and your girlfriend save me a seat for third wheeling.”

What better way to kick off summer than sipping a vodka cranberry by the beach? At least, that was Jessa’s thought process. Except, she was drinking something stronger than a vodka cranberry and she wasn’t even enjoying being on the beach, she was just sketching the scenery but same difference. It was only when someone or something started blocking her light, that she looked away from her sketchbook. “Did you want me to draw like you like one of my French girls, or—?” She raised a brow, obviously being far from serious. “If not, I’d suggest you step off to the side a little. You’re kinda blocking my light.” 

“Well duh, you’re the only one I would ever trust to capture this essence in painting, and don’t worry I’ll make some space on the floating door for you. I won’t let Ariel get her nasty claws on you this time.” Jin smirked. “Sorry about that, but the sun does age the skin a lot faster so maybe that wouldn’t be so good.”

The start of summer meant Carson was back to working full time at the old theater, so it was a no brainer that he was spending his Saturday afternoon putting up fliers advertising Slashfest and giving them out to whoever would take them. He recognized one of the people walking by and went up to them. “You going to Slashfest this year? I don’t think they could’ve picked a worse time to do it, but tradition is tradition.”

“Slashfest? Would I be guest of honor being murder baby and all that.” Jinsoul teased as he looked over the other. “Honestly, I wouldn’t miss it, so you’ll see me there. Just hope the selection is good this year. Do I have to bring a date to this thing because that might be annoying.”

Being crowned Duchess was fine, not that Georgie had wanted it but she still had another year to become Queen. When the paint fell from the ceiling, Georgie screamed, her dress was too expensive for this. What the fuck?? Her eyes fell down to the fabric now covered with red paint. She wasn’t going to get this out. “What the fucking hell?” She screamed. Her hands flew up in the air before she ran off the stage into the hall of the hotel. This was not going to fly.

“You know for someone who just got covered in paint, you could look a lot worse. Gotta give yourself some props that even you can make it work like that.” Jinsoul offered as he came into the hall to check up on her. “So I’m guessing you’re going to want revenge, huh? Because if that’s the case then I’m all ears.”

“I’ll have you know, I just so happen to be an excellent dancer.” Casper assured the person he’d seen standing away from the dance floor. He decided almost instantly that it would be his goal to get them too dance to bring more people out onto the floor. How else was he supposed to get his grind on? “Not to mention I might have a little something special in it for you if you come out on the floor with me.”

“I’ve never doubted those hips for a second, Cas.” Jinsoul smirked before taking his hand out, knowing what his tactic was since nobody was really trying to do anything except stay in a corner. “Pretty sure I’ve seen all that the male student body has to offer so I doubt that you need to bribe me to dance with you, just flash one of your award winning smiles and I’ll be all yours in this dance.”

Calum hated suits. They weren’t his thing and personally he wasn’t a fan of how he looked in them. Ever since his dad had passed he was convinced he couldn’t make himself look at good as he did. Things always felt slightly out of place no matter how many times he adjusted them and this was the case at Prom as well. He knew he needed to get back out on the floor, certain that Jane was probably waiting for him, but instead he stared at himself in the bathroom window, staring in the mirror, clearly uncomfortable with his reflection. When he heard someone walk in he turned to look at them. He didn’t care whether they were supposed to be there or not He needed the advice. “I hate to ask but you wouldn’t by chance be able to help me fix my tie up would you?” He asked as he looked to them desperately. 

“Weird usually this isn’t what boys tend to ask of me, but I guess I can’t really complain.” Jinsoul smirked as he walked over, straightening out the boys tie, and then circling him to make sure his entire outfit was in order. A little sprucing up here and there and Jin himself would’ve admitted than Calum looked ready for the runway. “Alright there you go, now it’s weird making sure your clothes are on instead of the opposite, but I guess we can both call it an odd day, since I can tell you’re not exactly comfortable wearing a monkey suit.” he smiled. “Still, you could look worse, and luckily you’re quite the looker so whatever you wear comes second to those looks of yours.”

“Too afraid to make the first move and too stupid to even know how to ask someone to dance. See, my date is a rebel and I don’t care at all what anyone thinks of that, but it’s true that mostly everyone else treats being seen with anyone outside of their clique as fraternizing with the enemy. God forbid an angelic or an elite be seen with anyone “beneath” them and perish the thought of asking a Valentine to dance because we’re oh-so-scary.” She scoffed playfully, very obviously being dramatic. “I can’t blame them, either, although I hope they enjoy the vision in their head because that’s as close as they’re gonna get to seeing me naked.” She laughed. “Does that mean you’ll dance with me until Ty gets back? You and me both. I tend to pride myself on not being stupid, actually.” 

“I mean that about sums up this entire prom night. Who gives a fuck about anything, we’re just trying to have fun get a bit buzzed, and some of us will get laid by the end of the night. A lot of these hoes just care too much about the he said she said about everyone else. They call themselves Elites, and Angelics clearly these kids are smoking the good shit to be saying all of that crap. Because we’ll put a spell on them and turn them into a toad or something. I mean being a Valentine beats being called a murder baby anyday, but I guess murder baby does have an odd charm.” he smirked. “I mean I wouldn’t say no to a few of these guys, sure they’re fuck boys and kind of pathetic but I only want them for one thing, and once that’s over they can go back to their stupid boy ways.” he grinned. “Sure, and then he can join in and ogle at us being totally amazing as always. Well, we’re in high school, it’s the only time we’re gonna get to be stupid and get away with it.”

“I’m sure I would” he chuckled, nodding at the other boys statement. “Yeah, that’s fair. But, I guess we will just have to wait and find out won’t we?” Quentin had no shame in flirting with anyone who showed interest in him. But, he didn’t really want to make a big scene in the middle of the dance. Not yet anyway. “Maybe if you get lucky, I’ll let you request a song, and give you a lap dance. No need to be alone for that” he teased. winking at the other.

“Can’t wait till I get my taste then, the yelp reviews about have been extraordinary.” he teased. “Guess we will, and I’ll make sure you remember me long after.” Flirting was second nature to Jinsoul, a hot guy would always catch his eye, especially ones that looked like Quentin where the attitude matched the looks. “I mean luck isn’t really part of my whole thing, but if we find each other in that scenario I won’t complain. Hmm, the only song I want to hear is the where your name is filling a room, but I guess that’ll do as well.”

“Well, I guess that just depends now doesn’t it?” he grinned, watching the other boy nurse his drink. “If you plan on nursing me like that drink though, maybe our clothes should stay on?” Quentin enjoyed the way Jinsoul looked at him, and he slowly licked his lips. “Thanks, You look pretty hot yourself, J.”

“I’m pretty sure you’d taste much better than this drink anyway, and either way  there’s only one way to find out.” he grinned. “Maybe they should stay on for now, wouldn’t want to give people that kind of a show just yet.” he added. “I’m sure you’ll like me better when we’re alone.”
