okay so because i’m an idiot and i put writing this off until the last possible second .. i apologize if it’s just hot garbage and not the most coherent wall of text BUT I TRIED MY BEST. anyways, i’ll start this off with some possible connections ?? :-)

FIRST LOVE: pretty self explanatory, this person would be elias’ first love. whether he was theirs as well is totally up to you. elias is most likely still very fixated on this person and he is ( secrelty ) a big dumb lovamon so he probably goes around town, spray painting various vaguely romantic sentiments on dumpsters like ‘you have my heart always’ and ‘still waiting for you to come home’ sdjfgk :( 

FRIENDS TURNED ENEMIES: omg i love this one... imagine they just know everything about each other’s lives and then one day for no significant reason they get into a heated argument and just cut all ties. now they’re constantly talking shit and trying to sabotage the other person’s lives. 

HOUSEMATE(S): someone to share elias’ shitty little three bedroom bungalow that his mum left behind. it’s not the most impressive on the street, but it’s always been home to elias and the backyard is big enough for his dog to run around in. he tries his best to take care of it, but he does host quite a few benders every now and then. i imagine the place is probably littered with all these books that he takes home and like.. empty bottles of 40s.

TOXIC EX: my weakness... my kryptonite... the One Thing ™ that could send me to my early grave... these two know they are awful for each other, but that’s not stopping them from staying away. the familiarity of the chaos brings them together. yeah the love is genuine, but the hatred is the glue that keeps them coming back for more. they are probably just tired of elias’ crippling drug habbits and his inability to stay faithful. he always swears he’ll change, but ( spoiler alert ) he’s full of shit. 

CONFIDANT: probably the only person who truly knows elias. this person has always been on the other end of the phone or sitting opposite of elias on his shitty patio furniture at 3am while they’re sharing a blunt. elias is notorious for changing up on people and leaving them in the dust, but he has a soft spot for this person and turns to them for help when he needs it. probably the only person elias shows his vulnerability to. 

OTHERS: ( i didn’t want to write descriptions for these but i still really want them so .. lemme just tack them on the end sjfsfkgj ) childhood friends, neighbours, cousins, fwb, exes ( good or bad terms ), etc 

AND NOW... here’s some stuff about elias !

elias was raised by his single mum who did her best to make sure he always had everything that he needed. they struggled, but always managed to make ends meet.

never knew who his father was, or if he had family (siblings, cousins, aunts & uncles, etc.) that knew about him. 

he had a really lonely childhood. his mum was very protective of him and wanted to keep him away from the trouble going on around town so he spent most of his days inside, reading and imagining different lives.

because he was kept so alienated he was probably bullied early on and mostly kept to himself. 

sometime in middle school, his mum was diagnosed with cancer which was really difficult. his mum was his rock and now he had to deal with the possibility of losing her at a very young age. (he probably spent a lot of time beside her in bed, reading to her and i :( ughfuhgd ) 

he ended up losing her shortly after he turned 21 and he was so lost. like. what do i do, she was the only family i knew.  

and commence his spiral. because he grew up so sheltered, he really just had no idea where to go, what to do with his life, and ended up getting mixed into the very thing he was kept away from. 

he’s very thankful to caito and his organization for taking him in and giving him a purpose in life. yeah, he is heavily dependant on drugs ( mostly cocaine and weed ) but at least he didn’t spend most of his days crying anymore, right ?

he struggles with relationships b/c he is deathly terrified of having to deal with loss, but he’s very proud and refuses to admit to any faults. he loves putting the blame onto other people and is The King of Deflecting. 

honestly i just feel like he had a very rough upbringing where he had to grow up and mature really quickly and now he’s just trying to find his way and salvage his youth, yeah he doesn’t have everything figured out, but he’d have you believing otherwise.
