guys i went to this ramen place and i was so petite that the automatic doors wouldnt open for me and they had to call over one of the 15 y/o asian girls to come over and activate it for me it was sooooooo embarrassing 😭😭😭😭

about five and a half years ago there was an incident which led to me and 2 girlfriends ending up in some old spanish man's house and while we were there he told me my name (Ben) in Spanish is Esteban. and i was like omgggg i didnt even know my name had a translation 👉👈 and then the next morning i googled it and it wasnt true. and for all these years every time ive seen or heard the name esteban ive wondered why that horrible spanish man would lie to me. anyway yesterday i had the epiphany that bc of accents when that spanish man heard the name Steven he probably heard it as Steben and assumed ben is short for steven. so im just accepting this explanation as canon and finally moving on to a new chapter of my life.
