Wildlife photographer Joe Neely captured two bees snuggling in a flower, and the adorable pictures show a beautiful side of them we rarely witness. 

It has taken me a long time to accept I am not and no longer want to be part of this fandom. I contributed to the exclusiveness of it once upon a time, and felt its oppression when I left. I am not comfortable.

I have not been a great admin in recent years. I could have done better, done more, for the thousands upon thousands of followers FYEF has gained. I’m sorry for not doing so, and that there will be no chance to rectify that. Tam left a long time ago, and it’s my turn to head out now.

I created FYEF six years ago during a bored, hot summer. I was 15. I’m 22 in three weeks. It started as a personal archive for all the fanfiction that made me happy and kept me entertained in what was a very rough year of my life, and it grew and grew and I met my best friend through it and I got to share it all with you.

I will not be handing the blog over. Margie, Derwyd, I’m sorry. You’ve been fabulous mods and deserve the world for the support you have given me. But I’m too selfish to let it go entirely.

Yes, the blog will remain up and you can still access it.

Thank you for the good times. Thank you for the support. Thank you for your asks, likes, reblogs, follow forevers, stepping up to answer when I couldn’t, the get to know me games, the good discussions about fanfiction writing, the participation in the giveaways, etc. Those interactions mean the world to me and always will. There are so many people I won’t forget.

In my absence, please know FYEF is not the only ereri fanfiction blog. You can follow @ereri-fics, @ereri-lost-and-found etc. They’ve picked up our slack tremendously.
