Can I interview you?!
âOh sure! Wait, you have to take a picture of me?? I need to put on my lipstick!â
Whatâs your greatest fear?
âIm not afraid to die, I think if you live a good life and you live it the way you intend it to then death is just apart of it. My biggest fear is the greatest feelings that I get around the people I love will be gone. And I wonât know about it because Iâll be dead! But, my kids I worry about how theyâll be without me in their life we spend a lot of time together and I think love is the greatest gift that you have in your life and I think about that a lot. I do know that love prevails so its there in some shape or form even if its not there in the physical but I still think about what it would be like for them without me.â
Do you trust they will live the same lives that theyâre living now with you after you pass? ( Ex. Live it to their fullest?)
âI really think, this may seem narcissistic, but I think theyâre just gonna miss me! I think that my kids are pretty well formed now, theyâre in there 20s. I think theyâre most excellent people and if I werenât related to them Iâd still wanna spend a lot of time with them. I think the good qualities they have are gonna be who they are for the rest of their lives. I think that when you love someone a lot and Iâm not saying people love people more than others but when you love someone an awful lot like the love I feel for them I worry about profound loss and how thatâs just gonna affect their day to day life.â
Do you believe in the afterlife?
âWhat I believe is I have no idea. So, I think that some people live their life here on earth thinking that thereâs something better after. If there is something better after Iâll be surprised and delighted, if not, all I know is Iâm living my life the way that I want to while Iâm here and I choose to look at it that why because I think if you think otherwise you might not live everyday like its a gift and I try to live everyday on earth like itâs a gift.â
Do you believe in love at first sight?
âHahah! I donât believe in love at first but I do believe there are certain people youâre supposed to connect with and meet. My significant other and I when we spoke about it, had crossed paths a number of different times before we ever got together. And I think that theres something serendipitous about meeting people and having a connection with them and sometimes we even say something at the same time so I think itâs not love at first but I think there are people you feel a connection with and itâs up to you what you do to foster that.â

"What do you really aspire to be in life?"
"I want to be in the military..."
"What would joining do for you?"
"Joining the military teaches me how to be bigger, better, and stronger. It teaches me how to be organized, take control in stressful situations and complete a project no matter what I have to do to do it. I'll learn to think outside the box and do things I never thought I could physically or mentally do. I get to travel the world and experience the cultures around me, experience a bond with people so strong that I'd do anything for them, no matter what it is. And whatever the job I have, whether it be an army ranger, special forces, or fire fighting, my job is to save lives and that's all I want to do in life. Joining the military also helps me with getting my education that I need to succeed and live a happy life, as well as providing me with a shot at cities like Boston, New York, or Chicago. I strive to become all that I can be and more, and this route is going to take me there."
~Sarah Kendrick
"What is the strangest thing that happened to you" "So I am walking down the street and this guy on a bike rides up on a bike. He has an american flag in a grocery bag that doesn't have groceries. He asks for some directions, then asks if he can borrow a phone, to which I say no. The weird part about about it is that he had a name tag on and his name was Jumanjii. " "Like the Robin Williams movie?" "Exactly like that" Jacob
What was the happiest moment in your life? âLet me think about this really good⌠I don't think I can combine it into one moment.â You can give me a couple. âThe first moment would have to be when my sister was born, and Iâm not just saying this because you're my sister but I still remember the day I found out that you were gonna be born. I was in first grade and mom and Nicola were picking me up from Mary D. Stone and Nicola blurted it out that mom was gonna have a baby and I had been begging her to adopt me a sister. And then there was the day you were born and I still remember when they went to the hospital and the babysitter put us to bed and our grandmother came home and told us that I had a sister. So that was a very happy moment in my life because I jumped up and down on the bed. And then another happy moment, I would have to say is when my mom finished her cancer treatment because I was so afraid of what we were all going through and I didn't know what to expect and on the last day when I felt that she did it and we did it, I felt like we could get through anything.â What is your biggest fear? âMy biggest fear is death and losing anybody from my loved ones and i hope and i pray that some miracle happens that I won't have to go through that." Is there someone you lost that made you fear that? âWell as a younger child at 12 I lost my grandmother and that impacted me a lot as a child I felt I use to tell everybody about her because I was so close to her but I understood it was coming because she was sick but what really impacted me a lot was probably five years ago we lost a little girl that was related in our family to our aunt and it was a sudden death in a car accident. And I hate sudden deaths ever since I think those are the worst and I fear them the worst and you don't know what to expect and I feel everyday everyone should live their life as happy as they can be and I know we get mad at eachother sometimes but we have to remember to tell each other we love eachother no matter how mad you get at them because you don't know how much time you have left with them.â What age do you hope to live to? âI want everybody to live till 110! I don't want anybody to die or we all go together or we all stay together.â (Karla Kahale)

What was your greatest struggle in life? âThat I came to this point. I started from nothing and I was able to build my business, my house, and I never thought I would get to the point where I am now. And one thing that I find my greatest struggle to be in my life even in 10 or 30 years from now is a maintaining your health and the fact you canât really control what will happen to you.â How many years did it take you to establish your business? âAbout ten years, because I didn't take it seriously at first, and then I worked for about three to four years on myself and it worked from there.â Are you proud of yourself? âAm I proud of myself? Iâm proud of myself, but⌠Yes, Iâm proud of myself. Do you know why?â Why? âBecause I, myself, worked until I got to the place I wanted to be and Iâm proud because I use what Iâve established to help families in need, starving or with nothing, and there are people with millions of dollars who donât help anyone and I'm a normal person and Iâm happy Iâm helping people.â (Karla Kahale)
"What was the greatest struggle in your life?" "My greatest struggle was my mother being sick in Ghana, and I was not able to care for her." "What influences does she have on you today?" "I am the woman I am today because of her. She was loving, caring, successful, and empathized with people." -Yaa Opoku-Agyeman
So the advice I'd give would come straight out of Proverbs - Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;   do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do,   and he will show you which path to take. If I need to give a 'why' , I'd say that we humans get so caught up in the moment that many times we're not seeing clearly, but if we trust the Lord he will surely lead us throughâŚÂ Hope that helps!! -Yaa Opoku-AgyemanÂ
1. What was the greatest struggle in you life? The greatest struggle in my life was when I moved to this country, I didn't know how to speak English, and that was the biggest struggle I faced, since I started my college when I came here I couldn't understand anything in college, I wasn't able to talk to anyone, when assignments were given to me I had a hard time completing them and I suffered a lot in my first year of college ,I felt so useless that I came here to make my future but I thought that I was never able to reach my goal ,and It was hard for me to adjust in the culture and try to fit in but fortunately I had my family with me and I got over the hard time with their support. 2. What was the happiest moment of your life? When I got my first pay check because it was the result of my hard work and I was able to live on my own with my money and enjoy my life. Roshani Patel
1. Was there ever a time in your life you felt hopeless? Yes there was a time in my life where I felt hopeless. I work in a hospital, last year I got a chance to see a chemo therapy and that was the time when I saw that patient going through so much pain, the lady was on her last stage suffering, hopeless knowing that she doesnât have a lot of time, and that was the time I felt so hopeless because for me it was so hard to see that lady go through so much pain and I couldnât do anything to save her life, the doctors were not able to save her. 2. What advice would give somebody? One advice that I would give somebody is that donât ever give up on your dream do whatever it takes to achieve that dream. I think that if we do the hard work and put in the effort no one can stop you from reaching your goal. Roshani Patel

"What would you say that graduation meant for you/how did it change you are?"
" That moment felt great. That was by far one of the best personal achievements I had accomplished to date and for lack of a better description almost completing a dream. You know me, I have always been interested in pushing myself as far as I can and doing awesome things, and Ranger school was definitely on that list of awesome challenging things to do. So for me to make it that far, fight at it for five months after recycles which are by far the most demotivating thing I have ever experienced, it felt amazing. In terms of what it meant for me or how it changed me, it proved that I can go further than I thought, conquer my fears, and subdue anything that challenges me, be it heat, physical exhaustion, or the overwhelming presence of failure. It proved that if I keep trying, kept fighting for what I wanted, I would get there. It changed me in the sense that now I know, if I truly want it and never quit, I will make it hands down. I no longer look at a challenge as to whether or not I can do it, its more so do I want it. "
"How'd that moment feel once we finally hugged?"
"Hugging you meant that I had completed all of that struggle not for just me. Someone special was there to share it, someone that I cared about, someone I wanted to eternally have etched into that memory. Sure graduation was great, it meant all that stuff I mentioned before, but what kind of achievement is it if it is only for yourself and not shared with the ones you love. With you in the picture, no pun intended, it meant a lot more. It meant that I had fought to prove to myself all that jazz listed above, and fought tor you. You're my little sister, my family, and in such I want to make you proud and happy as much if not more than myself. Graduation would not have been remotely the same without you and mom there for the support and shared victory."

What do you want to be when you grow up? I would like to be a UFC fighter when I grow up and I believe that if I work hard enough in my youth, I can become a UFC fighter. However chances of being UFC fighter are really slim and I would have to be like a world champion in order to be accepted. If not UFC fighter I would like to work as a physical therapist. What advice would you give someone? Remember that whatever you want to do, always put your blood, sweat, honor and determination into it because without it you're never going to reach your goal. Roshani Patel
what is a piece of advice you would give to anyone ? âSee this is a tough one coming from a teacher. Donât just go to school and earn good grades because thatâs what you were told you should do, and donât just go to college because thatâs what you were told to do. You should learn because you like to learn, always find a way to do what you like doing.â
"Yes, I spent four years in college studying environmental Biology, and then I got to my senior spring and realized I didnât really wanna do that for the rest of my lifeâŚ" -Matt Contois
"Whatâs a piece of advice you would give me ?"
"Chose your friends wisely, thatâs it"
"Is there a time when you didnât ?"
"Oh yeah, many, many times, I learned the hard way, well, I think part of the human experience, is that you operate on an emotional level and a cognitive level, with your heart and your mind. You know ? Itâs difficult to follow ones own advice. I think itâs too bad that God didnât make us younger and wise instead of getting older and wise, because life would be alot easier. But maybe thatâs why weâre here, to learn these lessons." -Matt Contois
what is a piece of advice you would give any one?
"Itâs always better to take your time to understand others than to try to make yourself understood"
"So that piece of advice is very contrary to human nature, uhm, weâre extremely selfish beings, thatâs just kinda the way we are. So any time I feel as though Iâm under attack or in a stressful situation, to where I canât handle it, itâs pretty easy to revert to whatâs natural, so itâs actually kind of hit or miss on following my advice, so no specific time, because it happens all the time. Itâs just a matter of when." -Matt Contois

Can I take a picture of you for my English project? "Why? To show why you shouldn't party your whole life? Hahaha" What is your biggest struggle in life? "Trying to make everyone happy." When do you find yourself trying to make everyone happy? "whenever anything is asked upon me. You know, when they ask me to do things. Whether it's in my job description or not I try to help everyone." -Katie Ruzzoli
"What moment had the greatest impact on your life?" âBackpacking in Europe. I lost everything I had in Switzerland except for a ticket to Vienna. When I got there I had nothing. This Romanian man asked me if I had food and when I said no, he took his loaf of bread and split it in half and gave me a portion. He offered me a place to stay in his brothers home. Through out the entire expierence he talked about how it was his dream to go to America. When it was time for me to leave, he took this one dollar bill that he kept to remind him of his goal and ripped it in half and gave it to me. He said that he hoped that I made it home to america all right. I had always taken being an American for granted, but I now realize how lucky I amâ.
