It’s been many years since we’ve played Rochester, NY… well we’re back with a sick one!  Friday December 5th w/ legends Murphy’s Law, Ringworm, Brick By Brick, Dawg Pound, & Full Blast @ the Bug Jar.

We’ll be back in Pittsburgh on 10/18 for the BeFell release show!  It’s been a minute since we’ve played down there and excited to check out the New Lows venue.  Come out if you can.

We played in West Virginia for the first time back in July with Sweden’s Speedway and that was a blast.  Plans for hitting even further down South in Huntington, WV are in the works for November.

Our show in Erie this past summer with Madball was so freaking hot yet amazing. Lots of good vibes and movement that night despite the heat.  Thanx to everyone who sent us photos and videos too! It was the first time we've played our Shockwave cover of "Kickback" live and we were accompanied with the one and only Biff Justice.

New songs coming in 2023

2022 was a fun year for us... It’s interesting looking back because I always think we’re not doing enough & we could always be more productive… but as I type this list I’m rather proud of some of our accomplishments this year.  There’s always room for more output so I’m looking forward to 2023.  Let’s do a quick look back though;

- Kyle Bull officially joined us on second guitar which has been an awesome edition.

- After waiting for 2 years we finally got to do a hometown record release show for “False Realities”.  We got to drop the release show special cover edition of the LP at this show.

- We repressed the “False Realities” LP on two new colors, purple & translucent yellow which look sick (and still available!)

- Ugly & Proud records started carrying our LP over in Europe making it easier for friends overseas to get it.

- We released 2 lathe cuts in our “Erie hardcore” tribute series where we covered some of our old bands like xDisciplex AD & Brother’s Keeper along with a new shirt & hoodie (a few items are still available)

- We recorded 4 new songs down at Cerebral Studios outside of Pittsburgh which haven’t been released just yet (very very soon!)

- We already shot a video for one of those new songs so far that is being worked on.

- We did a youtube live stream event at PACA which was super fun and exciting.  Lots of friends all came out (and then we all got COVID).

- We played a bunch of hometown shows and also hit up some of our favorite cities again like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, & Buffalo.

- HA shared the stage with some great bands & friends like;  Abnegation, Terror, Kharma, Omerta, Juggernaut, Zao, Cipher, Advent, Racetraitor, Sect… not to mention a ton of Erie homies.

- We released a weird A.I. art generated video for “The Outlier: Pt. 2”

- EMS was on Wasted Radio podcast episode 33.

- Just last week we wrapped up vocals on another new cover song to be released next year. So lots of fun stuff to reflect and look back on.  We still have many other goals like playing new US cities coast to coast, or even getting to Europe, Japan, etc… & maybe work with some new record labels (who’s game?)!!!  We’ve already got some shows lined up for the new year that will be getting announced soon.  Getting these new songs out and around that we recorded early this year is a top priority as we are very excited to share them with everyone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years.  It does not go unnoticed.  There’s so many great new young bands and also old bands still putting out top notch stuff we’re thankful for anyone giving us their time and ears.  Let’s be honest, being in a band is a pain in the ass, but life would be boring with out a little pain!  - One love, Human Animal. Friends & heavy music fans alike are encouraged to attend IN PERSON!  We would love to see your beautiful faces.  We haven’t played a local show since 2019 so this is basically our “False Realities” record release show!  The event is BYOB and FREE.  PACA is located at 1505 State Street.  Doors at 7:30.

We just wanted to take a minute & officially welcome our new guitarist Kyle Bull into Human Animal. Kyle helped us out last summer by filling in on bass for a few shows & fortunately for us he decided to stick around & pick up a guitar!  Mr. Bull has spent time in a lot of bands such as Bushido Code, xRepresentx, & Domestic War among others.  He runs an awesome & exploding guitar gear oriented youtube channel that we will link down below.  Everyone welcome the latest Animal to the pack!!! We will be playing this insane show on May 28th, 2022 in New Kensington, PA at Preserving Underground.  The return of Abnegation along with Zao, Cipher, Advent, Race Traitor, Sect, Architect, Path to Misery, & Human Animal.  Last we heard this was inches away from being sold out if not all ready.  More info can be found on the EVENT PAGE.  We are super excited to share the stage with so many legends.  It's gonna suck for all of them to have to go on after us!

NEW SONGS COMING!  We are headed to Cerebral Audio just outside of Pittsburgh at the end this month & into February to record some new material.  These will be the first tracks to feature Kyle on second guitar and we're super pumped.

Wow it’s been a weird year again!!! “False Realities” has been circulating since the start of all of this craziness. We appreciate everyone who has picked it up & checked it out. The feedback & reviews have been amazing. We are very humbled by everyone’s support & positivity surrounding this release. It wasn’t really the ideal time to drop an album but we self released it and had everything in hand… so why not!?!

We still have some red vinyl in stock (for now). The clear version and the test presses have been long gone. We’re also on the second press of CDs. This time the CD face is a new color with some other small layout changes. We’ve submitted for some new second press LP colors but the plants are super backlogged these days so no clue when those might be in line for production.

Human Animal played a few out of town shows and they were beyond amazing. The responses were killer and we played with a lot of awesome bands to a lot of new ears. With the local numbers increasing in recent times we haven’t booked much as events just keep getting canceled as it is. We sold a ton of merch at these last few shows and some remaining sizes are still available in our webstore.  Pretty cool pic below by Jeff Lasich.

Be sure to “Follow” us on spotify or bandcamp. We recorded a couple fun tracks this past summer that we should be dropping online this winter, so yeah, follow us to get the news right away when we put up any new stuff. These songs might surprise some older heads. Also if you are putting any playlists out there please ADD US UP! We also have a good grip of other new songs that we have been demoing recently. Hopefully we will be hitting the studio within the next few months to document this new EP.

Also this past year we were featured on two different podcasts and had a ton of fun talking everyone’s ear off about Human Animal, Erie Hardcore, and some of our older bands too.
