Sigil Magic
Symbols are the language of our subconscious mind. They have great magical power and are used in many rituals. A sigil is a coded image of our desire, embedded in the subconscious. By creating a sigil, we give our desire a certain structure, charge it with power — and start the fulfillment process.
Seance of Magic:
There are literally dozens of traditional ways to practice sigil magic now, and anyone can easily come up with another dozen symbols. Come to think of it — absolutely each one of them will work!
The main thing is to follow four simple rules in the process of this fun magic:
✶ First, you know exactly what you want.
✶ Second, you assert your will to get it, focusing as hard as you can on the result you want.
✶ Third, you create a magical seal that will do just that.
✶ And last (but not least!) is you must keep silent about what you have desired.
Enchanting:
✶ First of all, you should define your wish. It should be very clear and be contained in a single brief sentence. You must present it so vividly, as if it were not a wish, but a specific intention.
✶ Next, you should create a sigil. It can be a monogram or a mantra that you create on your own.
To create a monogram, write down the wish, remove all the repeating letters and make any figure out of those remaining: the letters can be inscribed into one another, placed on top of each other, or add pictures to them. Remember that this is your magical seal and you are free to do whatever you want while creating it.
✶ A mantra is created in the same way, only the remaining letters are transformed into a meaningless phrase or word that you chant throughout the day.
✶ Once your sigil has been ready, it must be charged. This can be achieved through meditation (detachment from the wish) or visualization (maximum focus on the wish).
✶ The process starts! After performing the ritual, it is necessary to pull away from your desire, to forget about it for a while. In order to do so, the most common practice is to use laughter — get distracted with a joke or watch a comedy.
Useful Tips:
✶ If you wish for something lasting and as a rule intangible, such as self-confidence or health, it is better to put the sigil in a place that you can easily observe. Where your wish comes into your life once (a new car, job promotion), after visualization you should hide the sigil and try to forget about the wish for a long time.
✶ You can practice making sigils and supplementing or transforming them as you specify your wish.
✶ You can also include your loved ones in this practice and share the symbols you have created without revealing their meaning. Since you receive a useless symbol this way, forgetting about it (thereby kick starting its implementation program) will be easier.
✶ To improve the result, we recommend adding the symbol of the respective planet to your sigils:
Sun ☉ — success and fulfillment of wishes.
Moon ☽ — enhanced intuition, emotions.
Mercury ☿ — communication, knowledge, advertising.
Venus ♀ — harmony, beauty, love, material possessions.
Mars ♂ — leadership, initiative, physical strength.
Jupiter ♃ — good luck, growth, education, faith.
Saturn ♄ — protection, support, rewards or karmic work.
Uranus ♅ — freedom, innovation.
Neptune ♆ — creativity.
Pluto ♇— important changes, transformation.
Baneful magic ingredients and their correspondences
I got a LOT of these from @afledglings-guideto-witchcraft when they answered an ask I sent in, that blog is a fantastic place for information whether you've been practicing a few days or a few years imo.
I've been posting a lot about trying to find information on this subject and now I've gotten a good list compiled in a google doc and figured I'd share it with y'all, feel free to add on your own notes or just any commentary you have or experiences you've had using certain ingredients. I'm using some of these to make a hex jar to try and help a friend out with a shitty abusive household, which I might post more about if y'all would be interested in it, or if I just feel up to it.
Black pepper: bad luck, punishing negative energies
Pickle juice: to bring sourness
Broken glass: cutting ties, warding off negative energies, pain
Black salt: banishment
Thumb tacks: pain and suffering
Rotten tea/anything moldy: for detriment on their life
Hot peppers: pain, irritation, burning, anger
Garlic: disgust and repulsion
Dead matches: to drain energy
Salt: to intensify wounds, to sting, to keep someone away
Mustard seed: strife and discord
Onion: breaking relationships/habits/etc, strife
Lemons: causing pain (think lemon juice on a cut), souring a relationship, or any good luck the target has been receiving lately.
Rusty Nails: can be stabbed into lemons, or added to sour jars/hex jars. Pins the hex/curse to the target.
Vinegar: souring, dissolves relationships
Poppyseed: intoxication and confusion
Alum: stops communication/speech.
Small pickles: male impotency
Beet pickles: female hormonal problems
Thick mud: darkness, suffocation, feeling trapped
Feces/urine: to make their life nasty
Black candle wax or strings: binds the curse to the target
Coffee: insomnia
Tea: lethargy/oversleeping
Gravel: Being crushed and stepped on by life and the people around you
Don't ever let anyone tell you you are a bad person or you're going to get hurt if you practice baneful magic at all no matter what. The threefold law is a rule that Wiccans follow, no one else is obligated to believe in it, I respect people who believe in it and they should respect people who don't. Always make sure to judge a situation very carefully and use this magic appropriately.
And, very very important, research on how to protect yourself from a spell backfiring (because you can get hurt), make sure that your intention is very focused on your specific target(s), and, if you're doing something similar to what I'm doing, do something (protection jars, spells, etc) to protect other people around this person or people from the effects of the jinx, hex, or curse. Oh and if you're casting a spell on someone else who practices witchcraft, make sure you know the signs if they deflect the spell back onto you and try and do what you can to prevent that from happening.
Confusion and misdirection spell jar
Many people will do tarot readings on you, whether you know about them or not. So lets throw off some salty hoes and confuse the ever loving fuck out of them! This spell is similar to a decoy jar, and it is used to create confusion and misdirection in any sort of divination that is being done about you without your consent.
What you will need:
Jar or container of choice
Yarrow - Banishing (properties : banishing, death, courage, psychic powers)
cloves: banishes hostility/negativity, used for protection.
black peppercorn: banishing negativity, protection from evil.
Paper with sigils correlating to your intention
Some sort of reflective object to bounce the reading off of you
Teeth for defense
Any sort of baneful ingredients you enjoy to give them a little punishment for trying to divine about you
Black salt(regular works fine) to protect you from prying eyes.
Process
Cleanse your jar with your preferred method
Fill it with the physical ingredients
Write on a piece of paper, or say this out loud whichever you prefer
“Curiosity will kill the cat and no amount of satisfaction can bring it back. Anyone who tries to divine me in hopes of an upper hand will get back only nonsense and a prick back. Your tarot will turn against you, your bones will break, your runes will never fall into place. Your scrying and divination will only show your own ugliness. May this spell confuse and blind those who wish to spy on me
Write your sigils on the back of this paper, activate it by dabbing oil onto it, i used yarrow oil
Seal your jar with black wax and string
Warding
I've covered warding recently in my protection post. But here I will go into more detail on what warding is, the most popular ways to ward and how to create them as well as when to know when a ward is no longer useful or has been broken. I will also go into baneful warding and what it is.
What is warding?
Warding is a form of defensive magick which acts as your first line of defense against negativity. Be this baneful magick from another practitioner or negative entities and general negative energy. There are multiple ways to ward with each practitioner warding differently to the other. Wards come in all shapes and forms, and there is no limit as to how much warding you should do, you protect yourself as you see fit.
What is baneful warding?
Baneful warding is a form of warding in which the negative that hits a ward gets sent back to its source. Baneful warding is seen as a more "advanced" form of magick, however not too advanced for a novice to do with the appropriate amount of research. Baneful warding can come in the same forms as normal warding would.
Warding jars
Perhaps one of the most common wardings on this post, warding jats usually contain ingredients charged with the intention of warding. These ingredients usually range from herbs to bodily fluids such as saliva or blood. These jars are either buried on the practitioners property, left above entryway, left on an altar, or are carried with the practitioner when they want protection on the go.
A warding jar might contain: ashes of a warding sigil, bodily fluids, herbs and plants, crystals, bones, warding or protection oils, spices, metals, glass shards etc. These jars are then sealed with black or white wax (or are sealed in any other way, with glue, tape or simply just with intention).
When a warding jar is broken, you might find the contents of the jar to become moldy, the jar shatters, the seal might break or the contents of the jar to go off, you also might feel that the jar no longer has its power. When this happens, if the jar is intact, break the seal and empty the contents into the bin/trash or return them back to the earth. You can then cleanse the jar with your preferred method of cleansing and reuse the jar for another ward or spell.
Talismans and symbols
Talismans are objects which are charged with the intention fo protection or warding. A well known example would be the Nazar, known to ward off the evil eye.
Symbols are used to represent something or represent an intention example would be the pentacle/pentagram, a well known protection symbol. Another example could by the Eye of Horus, a symbol used by the Ancient Egyptians for protection, health and restoration.
You can create your own talismans and symbols to aid in warding. These might be used to ward against a specific thing, or can be used as a general ward to all negativity.
A talisman or symbol might break or feel like they're no longer useful once theyve done thier job. If this time comes, you can simply dispose of the old one and create a new one.
Sigils
Sigils are created and can be programmed with any purpose necessary. May this be warding ot cursing, they can be used for almost any working.
Sigils can be burnt to activate them, with the ashes being used in spells to add extra power. Sigils can be put up around your house or around your room for warding. These sigils can look like anything, simply draw them with the intention of warding.
Crystals
Crystals can be placed above entryways or in windows to act as a ward. Crystals can also be added to spells to give a desired effect or worn as jewellery to act as warding or protection on the go.
Some examples are: black obsidian, black tourmaline, clear quartz, amethyst, hematite.
When a crystal ward has been broken, the crystal might shatter, or go missing. Or you may feel the crystals energy feels different than usual. With crystals you cam simply cleanse and recharge the crystals to be used again!
Spells
Warding spells can be as simple as a dressed candle, or can be a complex ritual. Warding spells differ from practitioner to practitioner. Similar to warding jars, these spells might include the use of herbs, bodily fluids, crystals, plants etc. The methods of creating a warding spell vary, as there is no one way to create one.
When a ward breaks down, you might feel the ward break, or if it does what is intended, you might feel something bounce off the ward. Depending on the negativity sent your way, the ways in which you might feel a warding spell break down vary, this could range from feeling sluggish or nauseous to downright feeling psychic attack. (Whenever this happens, please consult a doctor, mundane before magical. What you may feel is a magical occurrence could be explained by illness, so please consult a doctor of you feel this way constantly)
Warding is a great form of protection which is used very often in a persons practice. While not all practitioners use warding, this is just to inform you of the ways you can ward to keep yourself safe in your practice!

Astrology of Mental Illness Part 1
A mental disorder, also called a mental illness or psychiatric disorder, is a behavioral or mental pattern that causes significant distress or impairment of personal functioning. So, these features may be persistent, relapsing and remitting, or occur as a single episode. As humans, these things can be quite difficult to deal with, no matter the background, race, religion, orientation or lifestyle in general.
Now, a person’s ultimate mental state is the result of their entire birth chart. The state of the sun, moon, Mercury, etc. and their aspects between planets in the houses combined. Your chart might be an indicator of how mental illness might look for you rather than whether or not it occurs. So, before I begin, I want to mention that the following aspects alone are not HARD indicators that an individual with a placement is or will suffer from a mental affliction, disease, or tendency. Many may be fully functional or well adjusted. There’s no basic placement or aspect really that indicates without a doubt that one has a mental illness or not. It has to be the perfect storm of natal placements, heredity and triggers which depend on the outside world as well as life circumstances. However, in my research studies, and observations- a common thread when looking at mental illness starts with the Big 3
1. Moon = Mind/Emotion
2. Mercury = Mind/ Nervous System
3. Jupiter = Behavior/Well-being/Maturity
Taking a look at these three first and foremost can often tell you exactly what is going on in a person’s chart emotionally, mentally, and behaviorally. For further illustration, lets look at a few examples beginning with:
Cluster A Personality Disorders
Cluster A personality disorders are characterized by odd, eccentric thinking or behavior. They include paranoid personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder.
Schizotypal/Schizoaffective behavior/disorder
Schizoid personality disorder is often described as odd or eccentric and usually has few if any, close relationships. They generally don’t understand how relationships form or the impact of their behavior on others. They may also misinterpret others’ motivations and behaviors and develop a significant distrust of others. There can be a lack of interest in social or personal relationships, preferring to be alone. There can be limited range of emotional expression or an inability to take pleasure in most activities. This disorder can cause an inability to pick up normal social cues, appearance of being cold or indifferent to others, and little or no interest in having sex with another person. Schizotypal includes- Peculiar dress, thinking, beliefs, speech, or behavior. Odd perceptual experiences, such as hearing a voice whisper their name. Flat emotions or inappropriate emotional responses. Severe social anxiety and a lack of or discomfort with close relationships. Indifferent, inappropriate or suspicious response to others “Magical thinking” — believing one can influence people and events with thoughts and the belief that certain casual incidents or events have hidden messages meant only for them. These problems may lead to severe anxiety and a tendency to avoid social situations. Since these particular illness lie in the realm of emotion [moon/4th house], and nervous system [Mercury] and perception [1st and 10th] of reality [Neptune] we want to look at:
Moon in the 12th or 10th house afflicted
Moon in the 1st afflicted
Moon in hard aspect to Saturn [Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer had this aspect at a close orb]
Moon in hard aspect to Uranus
Moon in 8th house touching a malefic
Moon in the 3rd house Ruled by a malefic [Saturn/Pluto/Uranus]
Scorpio Moon in 4th house
Moon in hard aspect to Mercury
Mercury in malefic aspect to Pluto in a water house
Mercury in the 11th or 12th House with malefics aspecting
4th house stellium with malefics such as Saturn or Pluto touching Mercury or Moon
Moon in hard aspect to Neptune [Since Neptune is about the hidden and subconscious
Neptune forming a malefic aspect to moon
Excessive squares to Neptune or 12th House
Neptune in hard aspect to Uranus in the 1st
Afflicted asteroid Psyche in 1st, 12th, or 6th, or 10th
Paranoid Personality Disorder
Can often be confused with general paranoia, but by definition is: Pervasive distrust and suspicion of others and their motives. This illness often manifests:
An unjustified belief that others are trying to harm or deceive you
Unjustified suspicion of the loyalty or trustworthiness of others
Hesitancy to confide in others due to unreasonable fear that others will use the information against you
Perception of innocent remarks or non-threatening situations as personal insults or attacks
Angry or hostile reaction to perceived slights or insults
Tendency to hold grudges
Unjustified, recurrent suspicion that spouse or sexual partner is unfaithful
Since this illness lies within the realm of the hidden, paranoia, subconscious, dark or fearful realm, you’re going to want to look at Pluto- or Plutonic contacts.
Often this behavior on a more significant level can be seen with:
Pluto in hard aspect in the 1st [self, how others perceive you]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 4th [family/security]]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 5th [fun/social flings/casual relationships]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 7th [relationships]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 8th [shared resources/secrets/hidden]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 9th [beliefs]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 10th [public sector]
Pluto in hard aspect in the 11th [collective/community/network/social sector]
Plutonic Stelliums in hard aspect
Mercurial Stelliums in the 8th house in hard aspect
Lunar [remember lunar= moon, the prefix of the word “lunacy/lunatic”] stelliums in the 6th, 8th or 12th
6th House ruled by Scorpio afflicted/excessive malefics
Venus ruled by Pluto in hard aspect [especially to moon or in 12th house]
Mercury in hard aspect to Pluto in the 1st, 7th, 10th.
Pluto and Uranus in hard aspect.
Cluster B Personality Disorders
Cluster B personality disorders are characterized by dramatic, overly emotional, or unpredictable thinking or behavior. These include
Borderline Personality Disorder
Includes Purposefully impulsive and risky behavior, such as having unsafe sex, gambling, or binge eating.
An unstable or fragile self-image, major unstable and intense relationships.
Up and down moods, often as a reaction to interpersonal stress.
Suicidal behavior or threats of self-injury.
Intense fear of being alone or abandoned.
Ongoing feelings of emptiness.
Frequent, intense displays of anger. Stress-related paranoia that comes and goes.
Histrionic Personality Disorder
Constantly seeking attention
Excessively emotional, dramatic, or sexually provocative to gain attention
Speaks dramatically with strong opinions, but few facts or details to back them up
Easily influenced by others
Shallow, rapidly changing emotions
Excessive concern with physical appearance
Thinks relationships with others are closer than they really are
Since these illnesses live in the realms of emotion, drive, sexual behavior, and views of the self and values you’re wanting to look at Moon, Venus, 2nd House, Mars, 1st house, and Pluto 8th House. Jupiter [Maturity/Wisdom].
Sun in hard aspect to Jupiter
Sun in hard aspect to Moon
Sun in hard aspect to 10th House 12th House
Moon in hard aspect to Pluto
Moon in hard aspect to Venus
Moon in hard aspect to Jupiter
Moon in hard aspect to 2nd House
Moon in hard aspect to 8th
2nd House Stellium involving malefics

Lilith in hard aspect to moon
Lilith in hard aspect to Pluto
Lilith in hard aspect to Venus close to ascendant
Uranus in hard aspect to Venus
12th House malefic stellium involving [Mars, Pluto, Uranus, Saturn or Neptune]
Antisocial Personality Disorder
antisocial personality disorder displays itself as a general disregard for the rights or needs of others. Common features include deceitful, manipulative, and criminal behavior.
Antisocial personality disorder is sometimes referred to as sociopathy. Common traits include:
Disregard for others’ needs or feelings
Persistent lying, stealing, using aliases, conning others
repeated antisocial actions, such as harassment or theft
Recurring problems with the law
Repeated violation of the rights of others
Aggressive, often violent behavior
Disregard for the safety of self or others
Impulsive behavior
Consistently irresponsible
Lack of remorse for behavior
Since these symptoms live in the realm of, order and structure [specifically the lack of it], Aggression, relationships, and behavior we’re going to want to look at Saturn/10th House, Sun, Moon, Mercury Mars, Venus, 7th House and Jupiter.
Moon square/Opposite Venus
Mercury in hard aspect to Saturn
Mercury in hard aspect to Uranus or Neptune [Mercury = Communication, Neptune=illusion Uranus=sudden/rebellion/chaos] Andrew Cunanan- the killer of Gianni Versace is reported to have made up stories about his background, which has led many to believe that he showed early signs of antisocial personality disorder—previously referred to as psychopathy or sociopathy.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
There are varying degrees of narcissism but, overall, two distinct subtypes of [currently known and agreed upon]. Narcissism is personality dysfunction- meaning any human on earth with a personality can showcase occasional narcissistic tendencies at times. The most severe or extreme cases being labeled as a personality disorder. To circumvent confusion, terms like self-centered or egotistical, I find are more accurate to describe weaker cases. Look, the fine print is important because many incorrectly synonymize and confuse narcissism and psychopathy when describing socially problematic behavior. While the two have some overlap and congruence on a surface level, they are not inherently the same. Psychopaths lack empathy largely due to neurological deficits in emotional functioning, which makes it difficult for them to understand the gravity behind why manipulating, deceiving, or exploiting people is not right. As a result, moral development is severely hindered. Narcissists don’t lack empathy in the same way as psychopaths, rather, they fail to develop true empathy due to being absorbed by their own emotional issues. Narcissists, at their core and in their hearts desire to be worshipped and admired in order to keep their delusory self-concept intact. So generally, they only manipulate, deceive, or exploit on an “as needed” basis so as to feel better about themselves [i.e exclusive of the intention of ruthlessness or sadism).
With that being said, those with narcissistic personality disorder have little empathy for others. They have an excessively elevated self-image. They need constant praise, ego stroking, can be unreasonably pushy-ignore or violate boundaries, and often are deeply insecure. This inflated self-image often comes from a past of poor self-esteem, hypersensitivity, and/or shame issues, and their extreme self-focus makes it difficult if not impossible for them to really see others. Notice the common thread here is “self”. Since these traits lie in the egoic center, the empathetic and feeling sector, the self and vanity sector, and relationship realm, we’re going to want to look at Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, 1st House, 4th House, Jupiter, and 5th House.
Sun in hard aspect to the 1st or 10th
Sun in hard aspect to Jupiter
Sun in hard aspect to Neptune
Sun forming hard aspect to Venus

Venus in hard aspect in the 1st or 10th
Venus in hard aspect to Neptune in 1st [fantastic image of beauty]
1st House Stellium including Venus, Neptune, Jupiter, Moon or Mars in hard aspect
Asteroid Narcissus touching 1st House
Asteroid Adonis in hard aspect to the rising
Mars in hard aspect to Venus
Mars ruling Mars forming hard aspect to 1st
Saturn in hard aspect to Venus [Restriction of Love/ affection to others]
Jupiter in hard aspect to Rising [Jupiter expands and “inflates” and rising is the “self”]
Jupiter Squaring multiple planets [Cult leader Jim Jones had Jupiter forming multiple malefic aspects]
Midheaven containing afflicted/hard aspect to Jupiter- Serial Killer Ted Bundy has his Jupiter opposing his midheaven and multiple squares to the ascendant
Midheaven containing afflicted Sun or Mars

A Charm for Prosperity (A Folk Charm)
Take three yellow buttercups or similar yellow flowers, and set them into a bag or charm bottle, one at a time, while speaking:
"Three ladies roamed across the land,
each with a piece of gold in her hand.
The first one said, "I want some."
The second one said, "I need some."
The third one said, "I have some, just as I wished: plenty of gold to fill my dish."

Success & Prosperity Cinnamon Poppet
Specifically made this for a new job I’m starting soon!
What You Need:
Yellow or gold candle- money
Green candle- good luck, money
Black candle- protection (from negative thoughts of failing or self-doubt in this case)
Any crystals that you associate with protection, courage, money, and intuition
½ cup all purpose flour- abundance, rebirth/new opportunity, harvesting rewards
¼ cup salt- purification, protection
6 tablespoons cinnamon- luck, money, success, awareness, protection, love (who knows who you’ll meet at this new job..)
6 tablespoons water- great chance to use moon water, preferable charged in phases leading up/close to the full moon
Basil- luck, money
Some of your hair or other taglock of yourself
Coins
Instructions:
Set up the space by gathering your ingredients, cleansing in your preferred way, lighting your candles, and setting your crystals as preferred.
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients first, then the water and mix again:
Mix counterclockwise while focusing on dispelling your fears of not succeeding, self-doubts, imposter syndrome, and any other negative thoughts that others may have sent your way that could block your success.
Then mix clockwise while envisioning your success, attracting money, confidence, quality of life, luck, maybe love, and a smooth transition to the newness of it all.
Knead the dough until it feels closer to play-dough. Imagine your intent is pouring out from your hands into the dough.
Cut your dough into a person shape, and add the hair/taglock (I personally actually only used half of the dough and saved the other half)
Preheat the oven to 300, then bake for around 30 minutes (flip it over in the last 5 minutes)- it’s done when it’s practically rock solid
Lay it to cool, you can put wax and sprinkle the basil on top, and/or inscribe a success sigil on the back. Surround it with the coins and crystals.
Allow it to charge in the candle light and crystals, and recharge it daily by adding coins or relighting the candles.
B O N U S:
Y’all. I think I figured out why narcissists get so enflamed by the term “narcissistic abuse”.
I saw a post from @furiousgoldfish where a narc had lashed out at a survivor with the line “you wouldn’t call it depression abuse”.
& I just realized -
One of the things that makes narcissists so sensitive to any kind of criticism is because
they can’t separate “insult”/criticism intended to seek accountability from a personal attack.
They see in black and white -
‘either you perfectly, unconditionally adore me or you loathe me with the fire of a thousand suns’
So if you acknowledge they’re a narcissist,
they don’t hear “your behaviour is toxic and you need to stop”...
they hear “you are evil because you are a narcissist and you are abusive”.
They don’t see room for change - they see a concrete definition of who they are / who they assume they must be to you.
They hear it as a personal attack, not a criticism of their behaviour (because they don’t see those things as separate).
It’s not that survivors are evil for calling it narcissistic abuse - it never was.
It’s that they think they’re either worthless or the most important in the world,
either evil or pure perfect hero/heroine,
either perfectly normal or an abomination...
They don’t see the shades of silver & grey, the “your actions are bad but you’re capable of good”.
It’s not that depressed people never lash out in potentially toxic ways, it’s that usually they realize that behaviour isn’t their identity & that they can do better, in a way narcs don’t.
That doesn’t mean they’re in the right to lash out -
but for survivors, it often helps us to understand, because for a narc everything is personal
& when they attack you or demand understanding, they make it sound like you’re ungrateful, cruel, lacking empathy, crazy, etc.
so we feel like it’s personal, because for them it always was.
So here’s something that might be reassuring & helpful if you want to spread knowledge about narcissistic abuse.
