“I’m an opinion journalist,” Nora huffed, crossing her arms. “If you disagree with one of my articles, so be it. They’re my opinions. Not yours. Mine.”

“Oh no, who has upset you today?” Hugo couldn’t help but ask, overhearing the other speak. “Is someone trying to take down the patriarchy? Are you going to go and kick some ass? Can I watch?”

“I mean I could try to use my own but it seems pretty terrified,” Alaska frowned slightly, looking at the frightened puppy. “Oh wait! I have a wrapped sandwich for later– I can pull the ham and cheese from it,” she suggested, moving to fish the snack from her bag.

“Are you doubting my telepathic abilities when it comes to this dog? Are you saying it’s going to be open to telling you all about it’s life problems and not me?” Hugo couldn’t help but tease the other, waiting for her to fish the food from her bag. “If this dog turns down cheese then we’re probably going to have to call a vet because something would be seriously wrong with it.”

“Listen I just got a whole new script I need to memorize by tomorrow so unless you’ve broken a limb or you’ve accidentally set your hair on fire– I don’t want to hear it,” Billie sighed, trying to dismiss the other from her table so she could focus.

“Ouch, salt in the would Billie. Salt. In. The Wound.” Hugo commented dramatically, placing his hand over his heart as he looked to his twin. “After that remark maybe I’ll retract the offer I was going to make which was to run lines with you- and to get you pie.”
