Been noticing we've been speedrunning the Obsession Discourse so I would like to remind everyone of the Schedule
MID SPRINT UPDATE
Guys, what a week! Things weren't looking great but we've been able to successfully conclude some discourses.
There was some brief back and forth on whether it was neglect or purposeful murder, but the majority have concluded if you're neglectful that DOES count as killing your pet. Contempt for pet is debatable.
The conclusion to this is that while she didn't deserve to die, she might have been a shitty friend. Whether she had it coming by making Bear meet her in her car is still up for debate.
This one wound up a little harder to parse. Discourse seems to have decided to walk around anything scary or morally dubious Willow Nicki did, as it adds too much nuance to other discourse topics.
Ian is not a good person, actually.
NEW TASKS
you may have noticed some new tasks have been added to the sprint, fortunately they are already well underway so we shouldn't worry about impact to velocity.
THE GRANDMA PROBLEM: Bear's ChatGPT history proved that he was looking for "old people homes" for his grandmother. However, its inconclusive if that made him her caretaker or that he took her drugs until she died. If this task concludes positively we MIGHT be able to claim Bear was a villain before the movie started, a new record.
WHAT NUANCE: Curry Barker let us onto some inside baseball with the shooting of the film, where some takes Nikki acted out like she liked Bear, and some takes she did not. Curry used both takes interchangably to make it ambiguous whether she liked him or not. OR IS IT???????? This is is the pivotal moment of an fandom discourse: do YOU know better than the creator? Like TADC, Homestuck, Sherlock, and many more before it you can claim that this is bullshit, and she always had no interest in Bear and the director is... well, not lying but wrong about the thing he made, I guess.
