i feel like there's a specific phase that tumblr users have to go through when they're like 17-20 where they enjoy fandom/shipping and also social justice but treat the former with all the gusto and seriousness of the latter and it feels really important when you're in that phase but growing up and seeing people going through that part of their life feels like getting kicked in the teeth by hindsight
